Hmm. So far, Megatron is the only one I consider worth getting.

Woah, now that is a classics Megatron. Looks great except for the red on the scope. So far it's the only one that is infinitely better.

I like prime a lot, his alt mode is what got most of the change. I think the gray stripe looks better as dose his weapon. The robot mode is nice, but really any customizer could make those changes easily I think. Cover up the yellow, add a little gray, and you've pretty much got it.

Bumblebee looks a lot better and it's not as easy to customize.

Grimlock....meh. Looks a little better.

someone should point out where that sign says " colour may vary..." made me want to throw one back at hasbore.

 

Megatron is infinitely less offensive to the eyes than the US version, but still requires a lot of work IMO. That orange is out of place. The removal of green plastic on the wings and the red optics might make this a must-buy regardless.

This is how you do safety colors Hasbro. Take a note.

 

Awesome, glad to finally see pics of the repaint.

It has WAY too much red, but I'll take that any day over green, purple & orange. I'm also very relieved that they kept his "wings" grey/silver instead of painting them red the way many people have done with their customs.

Overall, it's infinitely better than Hasbro's Nerfatron. As expected.

 

Actually, a bit TOO much red on Megatron. Throws it off. (and I'm fine with the green and purple on Classics Megs.)

If I were doing it, I'd recommend clearing all the red off the shoulders and arms (probably the fusion cannon too), and adding the stripes in red to the front of the shins (the ones that were gold on the Hasbro version)

Still got the black Snidely Whiplash moustache on his forehead too.  

Good try, but still not something I'd feel like overpaying and importing to get.

 

Hmmm... kinda anti-climactic as far as what I expected. Still better than what we got but since I painted my Megs I probably won't get him.

Don't like the orange on him. Or is it red? Picture is too crappy to tell. I'll wait for clearer pics before maybe ordering.

 

Man, I can't believe so many are nitpicking over a little too much red. Should be easy to remove. It's still tons better than what we got in the US.

Wow! Nicer color scheme more befitting of Megatron.

 

I consider it "geewunny", but I don't consider it "tons better", not "spend an extra twenty bucks for the privelege" better at least.

No more orange, purple or green. This is a real classic. Along with Prime, it's probably worth getting 2 of each.

 

Boring.

 

Looks like it was hand painted for the shoot, so the actual production version might look better. With that said, the red is too bright. With the weathering I do though, it might not be so bad. I will probably preorder this once I see a US dollar price closer to the actual yen(not more than double what it would cost in the US).

 

Thats pretty much the same thing I was gonna say.
