Ha looks more like a doctor coat.

 

I actually like that much better than the official transformation. It distracts from how awkwardly skinny the legs are. Wasn't gonna get this guy but you may have changed my mind.

 

His legs are skinny intentionally:



This is a character who's been given the nickname "dainty legs" in-universe...

 

now hasbro can paint it green and sell it to walmart as a scout class crosshairs...

 

It also gives Tailgate the little bit of neck articulation he was designed to have (seriously)

 

There's an odd dis-proportionality to the way he's drawn in the comics that works in its own way, but not the way it translated into figure form. At least, when I look at it. Maybe it's the extra car shell coming off of the arms/hands that over-emphasizes their bulk.

 

Well now he's back on the want list. Seriously coming to TFW is death to my wallet more times than I want to admit.

 

I'd buy it especially if it came with 1 or 2 of those black blasters from the Optimus Legends 2 pack.

It also lets the shoulders work much better too.
