Hello Everyone, back with my newest custom who has been in the works for a few months but is finally done, kinda, Siege Sixgun as Cowboy Bebop's Swordfish II. I watched the series last year and loved it and while messing with Sixgun one night, this idea was born. Sixgun had some mods made to the base figure, not including paint, these being: trimming down the robot modes horns, removing the tops of the smaller guns, removing the pegs on the arms, and the 4 barreled gun on the back. I used the reminates of two of the guns to make the big cannon so it attaches to the medium sized guns and the front of the ship. I also added a nosecone to the front. I hope you guys enjoyed this custom, thanks for looking. See You Space Cowboy...
After going through the poll, it's a 50/50 result, so I will meet it in the middle. Planning to weather the thruster area and a few other choice spots. Thanks for voting.
Here's some weathering I did to spruce the Swordfish II up a little. Mainly did it around the trusthers (on both the wings and underneath the feet) and the area where the gun is mounted. So far, I'm liking how it's turning out, but I'm not planning to go overkill, just keeping it simple. Thanks for looking.
I've got an Idea for another Cowboy Bebop Ship made into a Transformer. Any Guesses on what Ship and Base Mold?
Did you take apart his face to paint it? I've been looking it over to do a repaint... Never thought of this, that's fantastic.
I didn't take the head apart, I spray painted it along with the rest of the body turning his head every coat to get all the areas, I did this because, with most heads from Siege, they are attached via small pegs and glue, which is a pain to disassemble without screwing something up. I do recommend if you want to remove the head, use an exacto knife and carefully cut the head in half, it's worked for me in the past, but I stress do it very carefully. Good Luck with your Project.
Quick Teaser of Part 2 of this Crossover Project, not sure when I'll finish it up though, Let's see what happens. Thanks for Looking.
Actually, I’m not sure if it’s just my copy, but for sixgun, it seems the head isn’t glued at all, mine popped in two by accident while I was transforming him.
