Swindle for 2012 HOF

In the history of Transformers, there has only been one character who consistently used his charisma, his intelligence, and his unique ability to wheel-and-deal to scam and, dare we say, swindle other Transformers in to business deals or situations they never intended to be in. What could cost a Transformer a mere 50 Cybertronian credits could end up costing them HUNDREDS of Cybertronian credits through shoddy business.

Yes Transformers fans - we're talking about the one and only Decepticon known as Swindle.

Over the years Swindle has been a backstabber, a liar, and con-man, and so much more. Just how evil is Swindle? When his fellow Combaticons were defeated by Defensor, he sold out all their parts and pieces to various terrorist regimes throughout the world. Only by placing a bomb in his head was Megatron able to get Swindle to put all the Combaticons back together again.

Swindle is also one of the only Transformers brave enough (or dumb enough) to stand up to Galvatron, trying to make a deal with him to hand over the transforming cog of the Autobot City Metroplex.

Swindle even shot First Aid, a pacifist doctor, at near point-blank range! What a jerk!

If Swindle were to be an actual person, he'd probably do things like commit identity theft, steal from the elderly, take candy from children, kidnap the helpless, kick the homeless, maybe even try to charge you for things that you shouldn't even have to pay for! And the worst part? He'd be sure to let you know it's all your fault.

Swindle is the true embodiment of the Decepticon cause. He has received more characterization than any other member of a "gestalt" team (notable mentions to Slingshot, Silverbolt, and the Constructicons). He's greedy, part of the 1%, and only wants your money ... in exchange for your pain and suffering. All those nasty qualities make him worthy of being part of the Transformers Hall of Fame.

Swindle for Transformers Hall of Fame 2012. Never forget him, else you may discover upon checking your bank account one day that you too have been ... swindled.

YES. Swindle has to be in HOF at some point.

Out of every suggestion do far, Animated Swindle tops Wheeljack, Arcee, and maybe Shockwave.

I support Swindle for HoF 2012.
Seriously, if it weren't for Lockdown he would have been my favorite Animated character. He's got an awesome design, an awesome toy, and Fred Willard was excellent as Swindle's VA.
Swindle was cool in G1, too, but Animated Swindle really nailed the characterization.

even without this being a dig at the Club, I'd vote for Swindle cos he's actually been a consistently entertaining character in various series.

Couldn't we use someone like DoubleDealer instead? Or is the name too blunt? He's obscure like Erector was, and I'd rather not have Swindle get dragged down in taking a potshot at a club. Animated Swindle would be above stuff like this .

Note: While I was unaffected by the CC fiasco by not having business club before(limited money), I can sympathize with my fellow collector. I just rather someone low tier be the sacrificial lamb for this.
