Swapping Vintage G1 Megatron parts with reissues Megatron parts

    Has anyone swapped vintage G1 Meg parts with reissues meg parts?
    Particularly the inner red frames.

    I want to replace the red plastic on a vintage G1 megs since it has cracks in it, with reissue G1 red parts.
    I was wondering if the mould were the same between the two before I start messing with it.

    Any info would be appreciated.
