Maybe he won't because it would effect his automatic transformation. Also the photos I've seen don't show a axe. Which considering its animated prime. The axe would really make it a worthy display piece.
He does actually come with an axe. It's basically a big version of the 2-pack Prime's axe. If you look at the pictures where you can see his box (I even think there are some of him in the box somewhere), you can see it on the back of the box. It was also seen in the video that we first saw him, Leader Bulkhead, and Leader Megatron in.
I am not too keen on this Supreme version. I think I will stick with the Voyager one myself. Although I might break when I see it in person.
