so i found these construction toys which are alt modes of demolishor and scrapper(which are gonna be my next projects..=)..), and they are huge, almost up to scale..

So i need advice on how to make them completely out of scratch and still be able to transform.. Thanks

Not real keen on the excavator, gonna take alot of styrene to make it look movie accurate. However, I love the frontend loader. That is almost spot-on.

I started a leader class Scrapper 3 years ago, but lost interest. Here is a couple of pics of some of my progress. hope it helps.

It seems the toys fans look forward to the most either never happen, or never reach all shores...
Ironically, this makes such toys fill the minds of the dreamers & from inspiration comes greatness.

Sorry, feeling a little sick & haven't had much sleep lately - but check out this blog, he made one recently & you should be able to find some WIP pics on his site, if you check some older pics (he normally posts blueprints of his builds...).

I've been working on a supreme demolisher for almost 3 years now. My best advice if you want it to transform, Copy the transformation of the voyager almost exactly. That took me over a year to figure out, that the voyager has the perfect transformation. As for the wheel/treads, You can either parts-form it, (take off treads and add wheel), or make a collapsible wheel, similar to the voyager, but the bigger you go, the more complicated the 'transforming wheel' becomes. Also PRE-PLAN PRE-PLAN PRE-PLAN! I have had to restart on his arms several times because I needed to add more articulation. Lastly, build the skeleton first. Once you have a skeleton which can mimmick the shapes of the robot mode and excavator mode, Start to bulk him up.

I cannot wait to see someone else's take on this.

I Love what you're doing with scrapper so far. hes gonna be a beast!

started working on demolishor, unfortunately, i think i'll make him just a robot replica, since im still having a hard time trying to figure out how to make him transform, but im considering using the legends class transformation coz its pretty simple.. =),he's still pretty thin though.. still gonna make him bulkier and sturdier:

    Aww, you never finished it?
Oh well. That makes both of us. Remember that sumpreme demolisher I was gonna make? I never got past the head. :(

Cool! What are you using for the wheels? I was thinking of getting an extra Scavenger from the Devastator set, removing the Devastator shoulders, and giving it a transformation like the Legends toy. Those wheels look like they'd work really well...

you can try to cut the wheels in half, fold it making the wheels as demolisher's altmode body.

those wheels were from a kid's push-pull toy which i found.. =).. yep they kinda work well in his bot mode, but im having a hard time trying to make them fit in his alt mode..

im thinking about that, but im also considering separating the wheels and replacing them with treads when he is in alt mode.. =)

    anyway, here are the updates:

I recommend the Lego Technic pieces. They snap together really well. Unfortunately, at least for me, they're moreso available only at TRU and not at Walmart or Target...

    truck mode:
-i managed to make both wheels fit inside his body, but im thinking of cutting one wheel in half and try to turn it into treads..

started working on some details on his head:
-scratches and engraved the decepticon insignia on top of his head... =)
