I was going to send this as a PM, but I've noticed several members that have sig violations so maybe this thread can help.

I've recently had my sig removed and replaced with the warning:
Sig pictures are to be no larger than 200KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 700 pixels wide - 2005 Staff

The offending image is 300 x 515 and 120K.

I checked and the rules for supporters still stand.

Has my status as a supporter been suspended or is there some type of mistake on my part or the person who removed my sig image.

I want to post a new sig, but I'm not sure what I should fix before I do so.

 

Hey Smash. Can you post the image in the thread? If you're using Photobucket, beware. They can add junk date to an image that raises up the KB.

 

YES! A few years ago I would always get burned because I would send something to Photobucket that was just under the limit, and it would somehow gain some digital weight along the way.

I don't think that's the case here.

Here's the one that got the warning.
I downloaded it from my Photobucket account and it shows 300 x 515 and 24K on my computer. (I'm not sure where I got the 120K from before  )


And here's the one I used directly before that. I had this one for months without any warnings.


On a side note, I wonder if anyone that was responsible for Photobucket's redesign ever actually try to navigate it? It's pretty bad.

 

They're both over the 300 pixel height limit at 315 pixels each. They'll need to be sized down to fit within the guidelines.

 

Of course the problem would be with my brain.

It's 315 not 515.
In my own defense I've been pretty sick today.
Although I was in good health when I made them...

For reference for supporter sigs, if it fits inside this box, it's good.
