This show’s first episode was awesome and deserves its own thread. Such a high movie-quality production. Loved it and can’t wait for more. Kudos CW
I’ll agree with that. First episode was great! Really hope the show continues to impress. First one was top notch!
I liked it so much more than I thought I would. Typically not a fan of the CW DC stuff, but this was a nice change of pace. I hope it sticks to the family drama and unraveling the bank mystery and doesn't just become a villain of the week thing.
Yeah, I wasn't going to watch it after it appeared when Family Fued finished but I'm very glad I watched it. I'm not a big Superman fan but this might change it for me. Anyone else thought the villain that appeared looked like the DoomSlayer from DOOM 2016/DOOM Eternal? I had my suspicions of who it was.
I mean the 1st episode of most DC CW shows are pretty good and then they start to have their ups and downs in quality. Yeah I mean you know it well once it starts getting more seasons.
Same sentiment here. I'll stick with it. Out of curiosity, was this ep 2hrs with commercials last night? The ep was longer, but was there like interviews at the end?
The pilot itself was 1 hour 30 with commercials, and there was a half-hour special on making-of and previews and stuff. I didn't watch that part.
Good start to the series but I said there about Arrow and The Flash too and dropped those turds after a few seasons....also is that a black Lex, how are they gonna explain that from the Jon Cryer version or is it Lex's son from the future since the computer said Luthor specifically?
Had me at Sup's kids. This looks like it will be awesome *notices the actor playing Clark/Kal/Sups* isn't that the actor that played sups in Supergirl? Wait, that means the CW is involved?!?! ..... Aww fuck, there went this show
The premiere episode was incredible! I dare say this series may surpass Smallville has the best live-action Superman TV series.
I'm glad they didn't. I just don't get why people want to keep the trunks, it just looks dated and silly.
It looks classic, and I don't know why people are so hung up on the trunks. It was based on the look of old Circus strong men who wore the trunks to hide their bulge when they lifted weights. Even the current comics have gone back to using them again.
I predict this: With Clark now laid off from The Daily Planet and relocating to Smallville with Lois and the twins, he takes a job as a teacher at Smallville High School.
I wasn't even thinking of the trunks. I like that 'S' shield better, and I like the costume without the overly-busy tiny texture over everything the way they feel the need to do on every movie since Raimi's Spider-Man.
So, since I haven't really been paying attention to the rest of the CW-verse - does this show assume a time-jump from when Superman was on Supergirl, or is the implication that he and Lois were married and had sons the whole time he was guesting on that show?
...Pre-Crisis Superman and Lois were engaged, and had one child "Jonathan", Post-Crisis Superman and Lois have 2 sons.
At some point in the supergirl series he left earth and lived at a krypton colony , It was there they had one child But the events of crisis seems to have changed it
