My Target is pretty much cleared out of a lot of the DOTM figs, just left a lot of Bumblebee's. I finally picked up one and really like him, but hate how big and stupid looking his gun looks, esp on top of him in car mode. I unscrewed the gun, separated the halves, removed some bits and sanded and reglued the barrel of the big gun to the handle of the original, and it works much better, IMO. Also, it stores underneath (no peg, just friction held but it's secure) in car mode. Probably the most minor mod I've done in awhile but it makes it so much better for play.
I've got an extra so I might have to try this. I think I'll also clip off that left over part from the small gun that sticks up...
I actually gave my Bumblebee's cannon to Megatron - it looks better on him anyway. Neat idea, though. It's a shame that they didn't make his gun a bit smaller so it could store away in that space.
cool mod, but i will stick with my bee's mechtech the way it is XP why? because i like the mechtech XD
Here you go. I'm right in the middle of repainting him too... I put Nitro Bee's head on him and painted some parts (incl the gun) black.
