So I came across this guy at a Kay Bee in Amarillo on my way back from New Mexico this past Saturday when I stopped for a bite to eat at the mall. Basically it's a figure of Shadow the Hedgehog with like twenty points of articulation! Not only the arms and legs, but his quills, ears, and even toes! The picture on the back of the package shows his fingers independantly articulated, but the actual toy's fingers are stuck together. So no devil horns and middle fingers, sadly. I was hoping at least his trigger finger would be independantly articulated so I can put a 12" scale GI Joe pistol in his hands. But otherwise, he's a pretty kickass figure.
Saw it. The joints look fragile and inadequate to support the weight. Count on it breaking within a month.
How much, what line? Still have the packaging so we know what to look out for? Did they have Knuckles or Tails, or just him?
That's actually pretty cool, is there a Sonic? I hope they modeled it after SA2, Sonic's Soap shoes were awesome
Believe it or not, he's actually quite durable and his joints support his weight quite decently, despite being a bit top heavy with his massive head and all. He's roughly six or seven inches tall, perfect scale to a 12" GI Joe. As for the toy line, he's part of Toy Island's Sonic X Super Posers line. Though the only toys in that line are Sonic and Shadow thus far. I got him for $8 at the Kay Bee, but I see him going on places like Ebay and Amazon for like $20+.
Dang, Sonic has traditional shoes. Well, are they only available at KB as a real store? My local KB will make your insides burst with their loud and corny kids music
Pretty much. I didn't see any of the Super Posers at my local store, but he was at the one in Amarillo and according to friends in different states, they sell them at their local KB's too. The one where I live has the smaller figures (including the hard-to-find Rouge and Cream figures). One thing I noticed with just about any store that carries Sonic X figs... They can't seem to even be able to give away the Chris figures. Stupid token human kid...
That actually made me laugh Well, if they're actually trying to give them away, why don't you just take all that they're willing to give and then see just how many ways you can destroy them?
For some reason, he does not come with any. With the way he is articulated, you would think he would, right? Right now, I'm trying to hunt down some 12" scale GI Joe guns for him.
Looks like a great toy! Wish I could find one cheaper here, too, then I wouldn't have bought my kid those plusihe Sonic & co
Then for $8 I might have to buy one this weekend. Shadow figures seem to go for a fortune online. And yes, no one liked Chris Thorndyke whatsoever. Almost a prototype of Sam Witwicky, being the human addition that gets more screen time than the title characters.
But I liked Sam... ;_; (It was Mikayla that annoyed me) As for the Shadow figure, from what I can tell, I might have been lucky to find one in-store, as most places sell them the second they're put on the shelf. I just regret not buying the other Shadows there and making some major Ebay bank.
I've noticed...for some reason, they don't seem to be flocking onto ebay either, but the few that do, go waaaay too much, which is why I asked if you could buy me some...
