That's not accurate. Mario should be about shoulder-height to master chief, and twice as tall when Super.
Master Chief is about 7 feet tall in his armor. So by your logic, Super Mario is about 14 feet tall. Am I right?
At first I was like, why Super Mario Fusion for a Halo crossover? It sounds more like a Metroid game. Then I downloaded it and realized it's not just Halo. It's pretty neat so far (not to mention a bit hard, but that's just like any Mario game), but I'd like a better control scheme. My computer tries to activate StickyKeys when Shift is pressed five consecutive times, interrupting everything. That's a bit of a nuisance when swimming. Also, kudos to mixing Mario and Mega Man, but he really needs some sort of weapon in that level (I didn't finish it, but I didn't see one).
Yes. 'Regular' Mario is an Italian-American man of average height. The mushroom kingdom is full of giant monsters, possibly as a result of the abundance of super mushrooms. When super mario takes damage, he's not shrinking, he's returning to normal. Did he look like some kind of freaky dwarf when fighting that giant ape on the construction site, running through the alternate universe where man evolved from dinosaurs or wrestling with The Ultimate Warrior? No he did not. Case closed, game set and match, congratulation, dodongo dislikes smoke.
OBJECTION! Not so fast. Using the evidence we have regarding a "real world" Mario, Mario is short. Exhibit A: Bob Hoskins = Short. Exhibit B: Shorter than; Link, Samus, Solid Snake etc. in SSBB. Exhibit C: When taking your so called measurements in to consideration, that would make Luigi the jolly green fucking giant.
