This was a 100% scratch-built custom I did for a good friend of mine for the grand-opening of his game-store out in Birmingham, Alabama. It was built using 6" pvc-pipe, styrene-sheeting, clear lexan, a plastic bowl and a supplement-container. I pretty much used stuff I had layin' around the house, for the exception of the bowl I got at the dollar-store that I had to use for the snout. Didn't come out too bad! Here's the full video with a very cool Super Mario remix track
That is super cool, I would really like to see a transforming bullet guy someday That would be awesome!
Yep, you're pretty much right....and I almost gave him arms, but I ran out of time and couldn't find a junker-toy to use or build some for scratch, so I just left it as-is. The arms are really the only difference between the two, and there are so many variations of this guy. I really wish I had found some arms to stick on him but oh well. Thank ya! Thanks for checkin him out Much appreciated man! Thanks man, I wish I coulda put more time into it, but it was a last-minute slap-together for a grand-opening....I really wanted to give him some arms! 'Nuff said! Anything is possible!
This is really cool man. Just a suggestion, if you do decide to make another one of these figures can you add some arms and fists? Also not to overload you but can you some how Make the arms move up and down like he is trying To hit someone? Oh! Make the little bomb guy! That fucker was cool as all get out!
I know huh? It was a major pain-in-the-butt building, but after it was done I wanted to keep it! Oh I'll NEVA build another one of these...I'd rather chew on broken glass while tap-dancin' on a land-mine. I was gonna steal some arms off a baby's-toy of some kind for it, but baby's get mad when you steal their toys...so I passed on the arms....Seriously I gave it a chance and looked around the thrift-store for something I could use, but didn't find squat there...I also could've scratch-built some too, but I ran out of time and just decided to skipped the arms. It would've looked so much better. ...oh the little bomb-guy was "Bob-omb", which would be a LOT easier to build than Bill, I think I'd actually enjoy that one. For a bunch of scraps, I tried to make it as awesome as I could! Thanks! It's gonna be called "Press Start" around Birmingham. It'll have loads of pcs to play online, a stage & 150" screen for guitar-hero competitions! It should be open by mid-November!
Straight from the source, the truth has been spoken! Thanks! Thanks Wikkid! I really wish we could see more custom-builds of this old-school stuff, but there are a few that still do it. There is an amazing 3D Super Mario Bros. aquarium diorama floating around the internet, and a bedroom painted up as the 1st level too...but other than that, I haven't seen much more stuff like this....Was nice to see a company make a Samus from Metroid though....
