Well this is something I've been meaning to post pics of for years. It has Transformers in it too so might as well post it here too. :)

Over 10 years ago I made this battle board game for an alternative thing to do with my friends besides sword fighting and video games, since I wanted to be more easily conscious of what my new baby daughter (huge kid in first pic) was doing and could get out as much. It started off with only 6 teams, all characters I made up, and one small map. The next door neighbor saw me working on it when he was over one day and asked to try it out, so we did. Then we spent the next several days playing it over and over and over until I tweaked and balanced all 6 teams to friggin perfection.
After that, I called some of my other friends over, they played it, then went nuts versing each other for hours until somebody got the idea of 3 vs 3, at which point it was on. In no time we were having parties centered on everyone getting wasted and playing what was soon dubbed "Super Great Game 3000" ever weekend.
Over the years the game never seemed to die for so long that I kept adding new teams, replacing worn out cards, and replacing the hand drawn player character representations with sculpted characters, small figures, and hero-clix.
This thing got played literally hundreds of times over a good 6 years by my friends and family before people started to drift apart for different reasons, mostly their own jobs and families growing and changing with time.
It hasnt been played much in the last several years aside from every few months when my oldest daughter wants to, but there are a lot of memories in that old box and a lot of work went into it.
Figured I'd get some pics before I stash it into a closet.

The pics should have enough close ups to give you a good idea how it generally played. Players roll a die to move on the board squares then take 2 turns either drawing a new card or attacking a adjacent or in-range enemy until only one dude is left standing.

ADDED- Last pic shows more of my crummy original character art that went into it. It's just the 2 "super teams", good and bad, meant for a nice prolonged chess style match for 2, and a few other player pieces I drew and sculpted way back then.

Hah thanks. I'd love to have new people to play it with again.

I thought about it but no idea how to go about that and no confidence in it working either. I'd only have to remove the teams I didnt make up and hand draw/sculpt, which would leave 8 original teams.
