I loved the concept art of this guy with sunglasses so I had to add some before I painted him. Take an Energon Bulkhead unscrew the back of the head, remove the light piping and then pop out his eye lenses. Bit O' glue to Steeljaws snout and cranium and you're all set. They can obviously be trimmed down to your liking, as is these are unmodded. You could leave them clear, I'm painting mine but they do work well enough as is.

If you guys have some more options, certainly feel free to post them. Also, more photos of the modification process would be great as well. I'd like to resource this as a tutorial, as it seems like a pretty neat way for some to enter into customizing things as well :)

I'm wondering how he'd look if I drilled out his eyes and replaced them with beads, like OMEGAPRIME did with Bumblebee...

WHAT??! You mean to tell me that my Steeljaw is already inaccurate to the concept arts? Great, now I have to give him the awesome glasses!

I just tried this and it looks awesome. I cut the thin bit in the middle out and glued the pieces on. It also looks better if you take a blue Sharpie to the shades :)  I may pop them off again and paint him, but who knows...
