Seems like they keep touching up the Super Bowl spot and Paramountes just uploaded the updated version in a different language on YouTube.


Scenes updated:

-Scene where Optimus is rising he is about to put on mouth gaurd
-When Optimus gets shot you can see Nightship
-Cade punching now features Nightship in background
-Crosshairs scene with Goggle on now
-Scene where Optimus is on Grimlock has been dramatically changed. Grimlock is now way smaller and is more in scale with Optimus!

I think I liked it better when Grimlock looked bigger.

Edit: Nevermind, I think he actually looks better now. One problem is that the CGI from Grimlock does not look like it belongs in the scene, it doesn't blend.

Grimlock looks even more smaller and his eyes are closed in both scenes :s

Still think the scene of Galvatron and the car-slice looks fake. Not seeing much improvement in that part.

Most the alterations don't really make much sense... why would a robot need tinted goggles for example? Its minor nit-picks, but these are the sort of things that glare at me from the trailers. Still wondering why they are just updating the Superbowl spot over and over again. If you change it after release it isn't really the Superbowl spot as much as it is just an edited TV spot.

 

I admit the goggles are weird, but I like them.

 

Galvatron's colors are still amazing (even though I've seen them before when it updated the first time) and Grimlock looks much better. We seriously need to start seeing that snippet of Grimlock and Optimus from the end in more trailers, though. It's badass.

 

Got to be honest here, Grimlock looks incredibly goofy now.

Is it just me or does the CGI in the Galvatron scene look worse? and the shots of the Ships and Prime riding Grimlock are shocking.

 

Well Grimlock better be a cool character.

The scene still looks unfinished though, it's like the final fight between Prime, Megatron, and the Fallen in ROTF. The CGI looks rushed.

 

We still have a bit to go before they finish the CGI.

I'm hoping they make it look better, make it blend into the background better.

 

You all speak as if you can do better than ILM....

 

Honestly, if there was even a reason NOT to see this movie, this is it. Not only does Michael Bay waste time, money and effort changing unnecessary things when he could be giving the characters development, or a better plot, but he doesn't even listen to the fan's complaints. Wake me when they change it for the better, and remove Grimlock's horns, or paint him in gold, or something that the fan's actually care about.

 

We are just pointing things out, it's what we as humans do.

 

Actually a lot of us at least appear to like the way Grimlock looks. I do agree that Bay should listen to the fans a bit more though.
