Why are you guys surprised?

1. The standard Super7 Price is $54

2. They LOVE obscure characters in their franchises

 

I went ahead and ordered at least Banzai-Tron. Hopefully an Alpha Trion might be in the next wave. But I love the idea of starting out some Action Master characters. I passed on the other three. I know Bombshell is based on his AM form but I dont really need him since he was not unique to the AM line.

 

Well since these are 7 inch i think banzaitron will fit in nicely with modern chug figures

 

Banzai-tron is super tempting but this year's already gonna just about kill me with how much is coming out, and another $50 is a bit too much for me at this point, especially for something with such limited articulation.

 

For the last year+ it's been $45, like all the TMNT figures, Disney, Conan, etc. It's not been over $45 unless it's something huge like the next Mumm-ra figure. It doesn't make sense these get an almost 25% price increase over the rest of the figures.

So they added a few more joints to the old Action masters and we got "Transformers with super fun extras that you’ve never had before"      

What size are these anyway?

 

I like how these look. They look articulated enough for me and the accessories are awesome, especially the toy heads. Sadly, I'm not interested in any of these 4, but I now am watching this line with great interest for other characters they can do in the future.

 

The Ultimates Optimus doesn't appear to be an improvement over the RED line in terms of articulation. However, the Ultimates Optimus beats the RED Optimus in terms of accessories. Many display options. Is it worth the higher price difference?

 

Bombshell and especially Banzaitron are some niche choices. I guess I don’t really get the appeal of these. The sculpts are simple and vintage-y and the artication is very limited. For the size and price point of like ReAction stuff I could see the appeal, but $50+ for what are essentially modern Action Masters?

 

Gonna wait until TCP gets orders up, but I’m in on Banzai-Tron and tentatively Bombshell. More Action Master homages the better.

 

For more than double the price you can get lots of accessories a spike and a figure thats a few centimeters taller than the Red

 

Ordered Banzai-Tron. Hopefully, this leads to more Actionmasters that also come with their partners. I notice that Bombshell is modeled off of his Actionmaster as well and comes with his partner but 7" is out of place in CHUG.

 

Do these seriously not have forwards/backwards movement at the hips? For $55 no bicep swivel isn’t a deal breaker but legs only moving out to the sides is.

 

I'd be tempted for Banzaitron at the usual standard Ultimates price of $45, but that extra $10 really sours me on it. Hope this won't be the same for their Godzilla line.

 

First time I've wanted a Super 7 figure. Really hope they make other Action Master only figures. Would love a Rad or a Gutcruncher in this style.

 

Think of it as $45 Banzai-tron with a $10 Razor Sharp.

 

These are likely the earlier samples/prototypes, before they've had the articulation cut in. Same thing happens with other properties in Super7's Ultimates lime. Given one of the features listed is "Super articulated", I don't think we have to worry too much about articulation at this point.
