Sentinel Re-Edit Hulkbuster, Black version. One of the greatest action figures ever made IMO (I only have the standard red version).

So finally got the full article and gallery up for the Metal Structure Nu Gundam; link in sig.

Full article breaks it down but overall I gave it a 6.5/10. Here's a copy and paste of the final score comments:

Overall Score: 6.5/10 – The Bandai Metal Structure RX-93 is a very unapologetic display piece with just enough articulation to keep it from being considered a statue but personally comes out to be a big disappointment in this area. Ultimately it appeals to a particular crowd who are it seems are ultimately just looking for a big, pretty Nu Gundam to have displayed in the hangar which is more than fine but in my opinion this didn’t need to have any diecast or articulation in general. With that, I feel it’s a piece with features that are ultimately “fluff” for the sake of having driven up the price for a piece that could have been an extremely nice statue at an even larger scale for half of the price. Unless the next release in this line really shows that it’s bringing more to the table, I’ll be sticking to the Bandai Metal Build and Fix Figuartion Metal Composite lines going forward.

Here are come pics from the gallery portion:

I've started a little quarantine project for myself; photographing my whole(?) collection in the light box. I'm stuck at a decision point where I can't make up my mind though; all figures using a gray background, or do I use a different color for the individual action figure lines?

    IMG_20200415_224358.jpg IMG_20200415_224607.jpg

I only have 7 colors available, so if I go with color backdrops, I was thinking:

    White: MOTU
    Gray: TF/3P
    Black: Star Wars
    Blue: DC
    Red: Marvel
    Green: Power Rangers/Kamen Rider
    Brown: TMNT/Nintendo
Tan: Miscellaneous (Mythic Legions, Mortal Kombat...)

The only real colors are red, green, and blue, and as you can see, the red is pretty vibrant, as is the green (not pictured yet).

So do I go with gray? Switch out between the neutrals? Gung-ho on my color choices?

Looks good! I’d say to use the background that looks best with the figure.

I honestly really like the multiple colors especially when you're doing toy lines by them. That's a fantastic idea as well the whole photographing your entire collection thing... I wish I could but really wouldn't know where to start. Looking forward to seeing it all.

I had thought about this, but that might get to be a little logistically nightmare-ish, keeping track of what figures go with which background... either a lot of switching out backdrops, or hopping around figure lines. I do like this idea, though! But it'd be tough with the workload...
I'm going to work on some more samples tonight. I love the idea of the multiple colors too, so I need to see how it'll turn out before I go too deep, I suppose. :)
