Hello. Today on my YouTube channel, I want show this modification and painting of a Transformers Lockdown to turn it into a Sunstreaker movie style. I hope you like it.
Nifty. I like the Sunstreaker "ears" in robot mode, although Lockdown has kind of a robo-receding hairline thing going on that IMO Sunstreaker would not tolerate. He's definitely the kind of guy who would get plugs.
I really dig the alt mode Robot mode looks good, too... except of the head Does absolutely NOT work for me. And the robot mode would suit a Sideswipe body type way better. But still, it's very well painted
It looks A-MAZING, but I agree. Pretty boy SS would not be seen with a receding hair line. Though Tracks is a little more narcissistic.
Thank you. Maybe the head are the worse part. Really, I don't like the face style of movies. And don't worry Sideswipe custom repaint are coming soon.
Weird how a lighter color changes enough the feel and look of the Lockdown mold. Makes more justice showing the details of the lambo mold compared to the brown/black stock figures. I'd agree the head could be more distinct than being Lock's head with G1 looking ears. These designs doesn't mix up so well together IMO.
Yeah, I agree with theothers, I think I would have liked to see more black paint on the forehead. Paint is delightful. Do you also build model car kits?
