I can't find my old thread or pics of this guy, which is a shame. I did a lot of work on his photo shoot. But that was 2004, so I'm starting a new thread for now. If I do manage to find the old pics I'll update it.

Added ball jointed shoulders and hips, rotation neck, wrists, added sturdier pins all over.

I did a couple more this scale as commissions for keeblezak back around 2006-2007. No pics of them anymore either, but if anyone knows who he was, please PM me. I'd love pics of them as well.

Sunrunner was one of my favorites from back in the day. This is sooooo cool, especially impressive at this scale. I'd love to see the other ones, too bad the pics are no longer available.

I found the mailing address for the person who commissioned me! No real name; just keeblezak. I'm going to drop a letter in the mail and see if I get a response. 13 years after the fact. Cross your fingers guys.

Looks awesome. I wonder what other micromasters would look like with similar articulation mods.

Thanks! I've thought about the others for a long time. The main problem is the arms on most of them really don't leave much width for an elbow. That's why I loved sunrunner so much. The new ones they are doing are cool, but could be better (I do like the new hips).
At some point I'll get back into my Starscream. I was making him from a spare sunrunner, new head, wings, tails, fuselage, air intakes, cockpit. I really liked the Dreamwave Micromasters book about the great shut down, and how some bots decided to downsize to avoid starving. It would be cool to see a few of the main guys in micro form.

They should've made a Sunrunner from Cybertron Jetfire back when Universe was still a thing

Wow, thanks for resurrecting this thread! No time for customs at the moment, but I might be able to find my step by step tutorial. Hardest parts are finding the parts, and getting the glue to bond really well on the hips and shoulder posts. I used to have some spray that would make sure glue harden extra quick and well, but I haven't been able to track that stuff down for years.
