Hi guys its Jimmy, very interesting filming day today. I walked by the post office and they still had it open with the grey trucks in the lot and it looking like a bomb went off. I went to the Lasalle bridge to find the usual Bayhem, but following an entire sweep of the area I found no production trucks, I knew something was up(but I know they were filming there yesterday). Me and my dad decided to go over the the area where they had the trailers. It was in the parking lot next to the parking garage they used in the Dark Knight(with Scarecrow and the Batman imposters). Me and my dad went up to the top to get a better view(one rooftop over is where they had the bat signal and what posed as MCU which was kinda cool). They had the set and trailers but no production trucks, something was missing. We went back to the set when all of a sudden I heard one of the security guards talking that they were filming on Michigan and Lower Wacker. Then I realized they had this set up to distract people away from the real set. It was closing in on 1:00pm and we had to make the train at 2:30pm. I went and when you get to Lower Wacker closer to the Lake the street has three levels. I found all the production under the street with Prime and some of the other bots as they were unloading them(this is the location of the infamous Dark Knight chase), this was at 2:00pm so my guess is with the high powered lighting they had they might be planning on an evening shoot. Oh and when I went up to the mid level I was freaking out, I got up close and personal with the new unofficial Rodimus/Magnus Autobot and this tricked out road warrior style flat bed military truck. At this point it was around 2:00pm so we had to split but judging from what it looked like they just started doing stuff. Oh and I also posted some of these pics under the cast photos, so enjoy 

 

that truck looks evil..... screams 'Human modified' rather than in disguise robot though..

 

spot any faction symbol on this?

 

no man nothing, and I got so close I touched it and got in a pic with it, I only saw things like caution, stand clear, and danger near the cab and back equipment. No faction symbols what so ever. I was kinda hoping for a con logo myself

I was thinking the same thing... what if it's one of the survivor's vehicles? Maybe they've got a "Mad Max" thing going on here.

I keep thinking over that quote that something has happened to America.

This truck seems too 'worn' to be something modified in modern times.

I can't help but feel we'll end up seeing a future Chicago in which the Transformers battle has truly transformed the landscape.

A ways down the street near the lake, my co-worker took some photos of a cardboard-box city that looked like where the refugees have taken shelter.

Plus, as some have said, Dempsey's character was wearing an outfit almost exactly like Shia in that one scene on the rubble of one building.

My guess is there has to be some kind of major resolution to prevent the 'Road Warrior/refugee' future.

Fascinating!!!! I was kinda thinking the same thing, Yah know I was even thinking the whole city might be deserted, because everywhere where they have shot has been destruction....god only knows what they are going to make the buildings look like....Yeah I was going to go down further toward the Lake when someone said Bay was down there but I went the other way because that is where they had all the cars parked under Lower Wacker...man did I make the right choice

You know, I honestly don't care if it's a human vehicle or a 'Con (I highly doubt it'd be a 'Bot since it's so Bonecrusher-ish with the front and all...), that thing looks absolutely diabolical and cool.

 

Oh no problem man just wanted you guys to see some of my pics, and yah know this could be some type of anti-transformers apocalyptic vehicle.....

 

I hope that truck is Onslaght. I personally don't like the idea of this being future Chicago. We heard about cons attacking cities a while back, right? Let's just have this be present day Chigago after being wrecked.

 

It looks like it would fit with the Wreckers.
