Light up eyes. I'm game for a new head, since you could make a number of improvements with a newly engineered head, beyond just eyes.

Light up rings (I'm game for an extra set of rings, too!).

Pew pew eye lasers (would go great with light up eyes).

Green fire breath attachment, assuming the head can hold the weight.

 

Studio Cell.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned that upgrade yet.

New Feet. I hate those swirly plastic grey feet. The hands and a new head. More screw hole covers. More advanced spike belts


I’m okish with the wings in hand.

 

Whenever we get the wings for having a planet mode and bot mode at the same time I want the wings to be more like the movie's. Something like studio cell.

 

there are eyes available now that are better than anything 3p will most likely make. i have had a ton of 3p upgrades. but the ones i have in my uni are by far the most well designed pieces i have ever received.

unless they build these with a voice chip installed in the void. these will be my forever eyes. they are just that good.



they also really make that broken face pop.

 

My wishlist for Unicron

• Super G1 faceplate
• Better articulated hands
• Thinner solid ring
• Internal planet skeleton to display both modes
• Light up maw insert with extending beam
• Wings that are specific to bot mode and don’t transform but look like the movie
• Back of the leg fillers if you detach the planet shell

Wow...I hadn’t thought of that...but now that you said it...I would totally be down for a tilting stand if it was sturdy enough.

 

I don’t think the existence of this thread shows that Haslab Unicron is a failure, but it does say something about the figure. There are definitely things I am disappointed with (especially at the $600 price point), but I wouldn’t call it a failure.

 

Why? Making it bigger won't make it look any less like garbage. I bought both Unicrons and I cant wait for my haslabcron. The unsaturated colors and loose/thin spikes on cell make the figure look cheap. The "brilliant engineering" makes the upper portion of the arms look like a pile of pannels.

There's already a comparison thread. Not sure why you gotta bring this garbage here. Maybe you struggle to read thread titles?

 

I still prefer the haslab to the 3p. The 3p has more breakage issues than I'm comfortable with

 

My upgrades:

- LED Eyes and red LED Maw hole
- Cover(s) for the miscolored maw piece.
- New wings/rin with a more elaborate non-kid-friendly transformation.
- New teeth
- The Decepticon Ship, the Quintesson Ship and the Junkion ship, all with arms that match the one that came with the Autobot Shuttle
- Orange replacements for the grey shoulder/wing O-ring.
- Big one: A much smaller stand. The size of the back leg is a real hindrance to putting it on display. The included stand is ideal as a Transformation helper (which is why it was included, the thing is too big to manipulate otherwise). But it's an awkward display stand.
-A planet t eat with removable chunks
-Skeleton for seperate planet mode. I'll buy it to have the option, but I'm not sure I'd use it.

Reading this thread it's AMAZING how many people are offended that the $575 Transformer exists.

 

I like those... I'd add...

-Lights to the wings/ring
-Articulated hands in the sameb color with interchangeable finger tips
-shell covers for the calves to replace the planet mode pieces when separated.
-and some specific reprolabels, particularly for the abs

 

one that i really would like to see as well are gover that slot in over the outer gears you could have them slide in over the groove over the maw pincers and be thinner to the back so they would cover the unsightly gears but still are able to open since there is enough room
