Yes, I know..I'm nuts. I know this. This is a totally random, fan boy-inspired, slightly nutty project. That being said....

Kurosaki Ichigo, Transformer Style! For those of you who haven't seen Ichigo before, he is the hero (and chief bad-ass) of my favorite anime series, Bleach. It involves spirits and soul reapers and a whole lot of crazy. It's difficult to explain, so have a look see on YouTube if you'd like to learn more.

The head came from a PVC figure of Ichigo (the Ichigo/Rukia 2-pack). I added some of the parts from the original Drift head, as well as parts from a Armored Core Kit. His eyes had light piping put in place, so that the red LED I installed could shine through. The LED switch is located plainly in the center of his chest.The head tilts up and down and turns left to right.

Ichigo's zanpakutou, Zangetsu, was scratch built out of a solid piece of styrene, with a buttload of sanding involved. The sweetest mode (IMO) is , the waist! The Drift figure is already super poseable. The waist adds even more to that. Full 360 degrees of rotation, and because it's ball jointed you also get a bit of lift forward/backward and left/right.

Be on the look out for a few extra items......maybe something...Hollow.

The decals I whipped up in Adobe Illustrator. The kanji on the doors reads "Fight, Ichigo!" (From the convo he and Kenpachi had during the first battle with his inner hollow). I think this may have been the most fun I've had with a bash in a while. As I'm now diving into commission land (There's a guy waiting on a Brawn who is gonna KILL me if I don't get it done!  ), I'm glad I got this out of my system. Enjoy! More pics HERE.

You know what. Cool factor 11/10. Easily the coolest idea I've seen on the board. Please tell me your gonna do the rest of the Bleach characters in tf style.

 

Seeing this reminds me of my dream project of getting an Advent Children Fenrir bike to transform into a sort of 6-armed Gilga-mech. These sort of twisted ideas always sort of pull at me~

One question though, what happens in bot mode to the windshield n canopy?

 

I agree. All Commanders,lieutenants, hollows, arrancar, KON, etc.....Something along the lines of your Prime initiatives

Not a big bleach fan, but I love the colors and head of this guy! Did you steal the kitchen kinfe for his sword? Its friggin big!

I think so. I have some other Anime inspired TF's in mind, but Capt Hitsugaya, Capt Kenpachi, Cap Kuchiki, Aisen, Rukia, Renji, and a few of my fave Espada (Grimmjaw, Ulquiora, Stark and Barrigan) are most def a possible. Didn't know you were a Bleach fan, Sabs! How cool!!

It attaches in the back under the Drift's sword holder. I didn't demonstrate that in the pics. My apologies, bro.
