How many of you have made a really stupid mistake while working and discovered it either during the work or too late.
I want to not feel like an idiot for:

Buying the materials and parts for an ROTF G2 Grimlock, just for me to realize that the blue Ironhide I was making already exists.

how about buying all the pieces to make a ROTF fully transformable Dev and finding out that they aren't making all the molds. That kind of upset me because I wouldn't have bought them if I had done a little more research. D'oh!

    Stupid decisions?

    1. Start kitbashing.
    2. Make many plans for Cosmos to be changed into 13 other characters, only to never find a single cosmos other than the Henkei one.
    That's all for now.

Painted ROTF Mixmaster's head a silver-grey last night. You know bored and listening to the WTF Podcast. Gotta make it cgi accurate, right?

Well it is painted and looks less than spectacular. I wish I had left it the Brown color. Now I have to paint the whole damn thing.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but I have made the mistake of custom painting a transformer only to like the unpainted look better.

how about doing all that work on the ROTF Prime hand switch with the 07's hands and then wen ur done and painted.. and it comes to making guns.. u realize that u found a great way to make handles for the original ROTF primes hands that will be stable and stifff.. and then you have a dilemma.. articulated hands or just molded ones but you get very stiff, secure, gun handle... u realize that the O7's hands u just made that are so perfect ... are no longer needed....

Being so excited about making Guntank that i forget to install joints for the treads to swivel, and now it gets in the way of his shoulders moving.
