I love satire - and heaven knows that yuppie white people deserve it. I just wonder who writes it and where they're coming from. And for the record, I'm not white. I'm Scottish. There's a difference.
yeah, i was reading the comments on the site, some of the things can be considered more yuppie-ish than a white thing. but making fun of yuppies is so 90s. get with the times.
Funny site, some of it is sooo true, especially the one about Japan, so many people I work with think Japan is like heaven or something...
A Scottsman is a white man who eats the left-over bits and pieces of animals who couldn't run away fast enough. I thought the site was funny and very satirical. Something that there isn't much of in today's overly sensitive society.
Things I agree with: #58 Japan - I like bullet trains and fast internet, what of it?! The place gets bonus points for having brought me Nintendo and the (84-85 era) Transformers toys. Also, it has cartoons. #38 Arrested Development - Not just like but LOVE! Best comedy series by far. Also, I plan to wear blue makeup when I go see the movie. #35 The Daily Show/Colbert Report - news/politics is just absurd. This show brings it out even more. #11 Asian Girls - Back in the HS days asian chicks were almost always less rude to me than whatever white chick talked to me next. Example: asian girl: "Excuse me I dropped my pen, can you pick it up for me?" white girl: "hey kid in the blue, give me that pen". Now however, no chicks talk to me at all (unless they need notes). #8 Barack Obama - I yell at people to shut up when he is talking on the TV. I find him to be a great speaker. Things I disagree with: #57 Juno - I find every commercial for this movie to be irritating. Also it is simply taking away screens that should be playing There Will Be Blood. #52 Sarah Silverman - Quite simply not funny. #42 Sushi - I hate it. (most )Seafood is horrible! Whats wrong with you people??! #32 Vegan/Vegetarianism - Meat just tastes so damn good when its prepared proper. #19 Traveling - Yeah no. I only want to go places if I speak the language. Also, I hate staying in hotels as I can be a clean freak with certain things. #16 “Gifted” Children - What a lame excuse to take away funds from everyone else. ...probably more... Anyway, funny list.
I've only read the first two pages so far, (#50 and up) and have come to the conclusion that I'm not very White. Oh, I like Japan and I do wish I could have learned a second language in school, but I'm not so into many of the others.
Funny list, and if there was something that didn't fit me I could think of plenty of people I know it did fit. I went from last to first, and I laughed hard at number 1- coffee is easily my biggest vice.
Man, I'm a shitty white guy. Half the stuff there I don't like at all. #35 I agree with, though. Yeah, I think they didn't do all their research on that one. It's white parents that have "gifted children", not white folk all together. That's DISCRIMINATION!

Great site, loved the guest column "Top 10 hip hop songs white people love" (between 53 and 54) and the followup "Top 10 rock songs black people love". Although there's nothing I can do about being white, I am pleased to see that I am neither a yuppie or a sham-environmentalist suffering from WLG
