If only there were more listings for Voyagers.

 

They have been listed since April even Walmart putting up listing's confirming they're studio series her are all the rumored studio series listings for 2019.

 

I recently rewatched that scene on YouTube and realized that vehicle mode belonged to a completely different Autobot. Bumblebee was actually a VW at that point, not a bug but still had the VW logo on it.



I'm going to pass on the figure since it's not even the correct vehicle mode.

 

I was actually thinking this could be movie verse tap-out. Since it’s a bumblebeeish figure in green it kinda suits.

 

Keep in mind that his body itself isn't even modeled after that car; his kibble is based off a British Humber Armored Car, but the scene called for a German vehicle because it was a stealth mission. You can literally see him go from gray to green when he transforms, and the kibble in the movie is very clearly from a much more angular armored vehicle and looks nothing like what he transforms into. I'm not sure why everyone is so upset about this when his alt-mode in the movie is obviously bullshit.

 

Anyone else find it odd that we're almost 30 figures deep into studio series, with only 2 leader class? Especially since the movie franchise has a lot of characters that kinda need to be that size.

High concentration of bovine droppings in the bot transformation is to be expected.

 

The only characters big enough for Leaders (barring combiners) IIRC are:
Blackout
Grimlock
Grindor
Jetfire
Devcon
Demolisher
3 other Dinobots

Only 9 out of around 90 non-generics, All-spark mutations, and protoforms. A lot of characters could've benefitted from the Leader treatment like Prime, Megs and Shockwave but due to the SS scale that's no longer possible.

 

It is odd. I’m guessing they’re either focusing their efforts into smaller and more involved figures or building up leaders for the future. It is weird how we haven’t even got a Grindor retool or a G1/AoE toy coloured grimlock.

 

With these figures being from numbers 26 to 30, you'd wonder where will Red Light fit in?

Because non of that is obvious. The movie designs are so complex and broken up that they don't even look like they can transform at all. The kibble could little really be from anything because he doesn't even look like a Transformer.

 

I did the count and if everything from the number of figures per size class works out ( 11 deluxe 6 voyager and 3 leader ) and if the remaining listings we have that havent been officially revealed are indeed part of them then by the end of next year studio series will reach # 45.

Additionally from the size breakdown and online listings we still have a handful we dont know most being voyager class.

 

Hasbro said that Dino would be Stinger with a new head.
