Sideswipe looks gorgeous! In both modes! Quite scared about what his backpack must look like, though. For a second I actually thought he had the headlights/hood corners on his forearms like he's supposed to, but nope, they're on his feet just like the original deluxe. Oh well!

Barricade is looking good too; definitely taking a lot of design cues from MPM-5!

As for Bee... yep, that's a strange figure to call Bumblebee, considering the colour & alt mode. Kind of like they just put a Bumblebee head on a random body, but whatever.

But very excited we're starting to see stuff and it's only Wednesday!! Can't wait for more!

 

Other than having the wrong vehicle mode, that Bumblebee is based on his body from WWII in TLK.

 

All three of them look pretty good...

I'm aware. Still nothing Bumblebee-ish about him. He just looks like a generic military bot. It's funny, because I'd actually like more historic/period alt modes... just something that looks a bit more distinctive than this, haha. Definitely a random choice for the first TLK design in the line!

But if this means we can get a Studio Series TLK Barricade, then I'm all for it!  

 

Not really random. The WW2 scenes with Hot rod and Bumblebee were one of the only good moments in the Last Knight.

 

I don't think Barricade and Sideswipe are enough of an upgrade over figures I already have to warrant a SS purchase. In terms of build quality and plastic, SS Sideswipe will be nowhere near the ROTF version.

I was really excited for WWII Bee, but all I see is a bot that should be Hound. If you put AOE Hound's head on that Bee, it would look almost perfect.

 

Does WWII Bumblebee get canceled if it’s deemed offensive to the German market? I am sure Hasbro doesn't want to potentially embarrass VW.

WWII Bee looks a bit too shellformer-y for my tastes but I'll wait to see more before passing full judgement.

WW2 Bumblebee is dope, Bumblebee head aside. I hope there are Generations reveals too...

 

Actually it appears he's a British model, which makes him... okay? I dunno.

 

Somehow, I think that Barricade looks an awful lot like DOTM Deluxe Barricade.

 

Oh cool, WWII Bee. Gonna have to pick him up.

 

Seems to take a lot from the mpm though. He doesn't seem to have his iconic door wings, but maybe Hasbro didn't transform him properly or the picture may have been taken at the wrong angle

 

They look fantastic! I didn't watch TLK so initially I was like "lolwat" when I saw Bee.
