I know that I just don't know why people just point it out and say they're covering the swastikas or use the word Nazi when clarifying things and not for political use and are not afraid to use the word.

You can depict swastikas in historic documentaries about the World War II era, or journalistic coverage of neo-nazi activities. It's even possible to use it in entertainment, the problem arises when there's a chance of it being taken out of context and then being presented without the original context. That's why German comic book publishers are still hesitant to depict swastikas in translated American comics eve when the Nazis are clearly depicted as the bad guys: Kids tend to draw characters from their favorite comic books. No sensible German publisher wants to be the reason for why kids are drawing swastikas.

What is even the context of a toy sporting swastikas? How many kids will buy Bumblebee the World War II vehicle because they want to reenact him infiltrating the Nazis in a movie from two years ago they aren't even allowed to watch yet?

Man, this toy is very likely to cause a lot of trouble for Hasbro. Think "Power Core Combiners Spastic" levels of "What were they THINKING?"

 

Oh fuck yeah. Maybe I should just sell my Human Alliance/Leader Class collection and focus on this line instead.

Barricade looks meh, Sideswipe is gorgeous give me him now! As for Bumblebee, I think I'm gonna paint his altmode white to be film accurate but keep his bot mode green.

 

Looking at pictures from the floor It looks like they're just setting up the booth there could be.

 

I CAN’T WAIT FOR THAT WWII BB! Seriously, I’m so glad they are doing a representation of the version of BB. Maybe we will get a WWII Hotrod as well. Also that sideswipe looks so much better than the original ROTF one.

 

Not gonna lie, liking Sideswipe, HOWEVER...(Waits patiently for the OS KO)

 

Of course they have to keep rehashing the ugly Barricade. I'm sure lots of Bayfans will be picking up that Bumble Bee....Sideswipe looks interesting.

 

They all look really nice. Might have to pick up all three of them.

Also, somebody has got to end up doing a Rack’n’Ruin from WWII Bumblebees, right?

 

Bee is very random. Sideswipe and Barricade are very awesome.

TLK Barricade isn't anywhere to be seen here, though.

 

There was some giveaway(?) at some Japanese store where you could win either a Blue Camo Blackout repaint or a Rusty Bumblebee repaint. That could be that Bumblebee there. Why, I don't know, but it could be.

 

With WW2 Bumblebee in this line, that could be hope for The Last Knight characters in Studio Series.

 

Not really feeling that barricade, I’d rather have an updated LK version.

Oooohhhh mama! I know most are excited for Sideswipe. Others like that we have a new Barricade. But sweet mother of Primus, I want that WW2 Bumblebee NOW!!!! I neeeeed it!
