Barricade fascinates me. From what I understand, this is the first time that this design has had a proper toy, and it doesn't look that bad. I'm not too terribly attached to this iteration of Barry, so I might wait for a sale on it.

Bee looks.... rough. I'll reserve my judgement until we see it in-hand and properly transformed, but even then it feels like you'd be better off with the old one (unless this scales better idk).

Prime is a little too stocky for my tastes, but who am I kidding I'll probably end up buying him anyways. Barricade is a very welcome surprise.

I have the original Prime and Bumblbee, so After much thought, I\'d say both are improvements and closer to the source.  But I would have appreciated some transparent plastic (some might be happier without) and I wish prime\'s thighs were filled in in some way, a good way is to extend the mushroom peg farther into thigh.

Both previous iterations were very difficult and frustrating to transform.  Bee was also completely out of scale. Here the specifically fixed some of Bee\'s proportion problems without fauxparts it seems, he still looks wonky.   I don\'t know how to feel about these guys.    It\'s a maybe from me.

So I guess Hasbro is fully relying on 3rd party gap filler companies now eh?

Just like the last time they released video game figures, they were some of the cheapest, gappiest figures around. I wish they hadn’t decided to revisit that design aesthetic

I am also probably going to put this next to some legacy prime figures because they serve in the same continuity

Always loved the WFC/FOC designs. I think these actually look quite good, though the deluxes seem to be missing some standard articulation that is disappointing. Optimus looks good, I\'m glad to see they got the chunk right and I think the proportions look good. I\'m really happy about the gun arm integration, it will be cool if they can all interchange like in the games. Looking forward to Megatron and Starscream for sure.

I really appreciate your pov of disliking the game aesthetics. I really love the games and many aspects of the designs, but I definitely have a feeling of dislike for some of it as it has a major deviation to the more war within and ultimately G1 styling that I prefer. I think the games could have looked even better if they went slightly different with their designs. I think some of them are knockouts like shockwave and slipstream, but yeah, there isn't much to be desired imo with say, Onslaught. I think the game abandoned a bit too much of the... for a lack of better words, alt mode attributes, for example windshields, and just made them all neon lines across those surfaces, which in the attempt to make them more alien and less like human vehicles, ended up giving them not nearly enough unique physical attributes to the detriment of making them all look very similar to each other in one aspect of another. They also all tended to have the same glowy surfaces that looked like the engine exhausts(?) on star trek ships. It made them all way too similar looking. War within is premo though, peak cybertronian design.

I didn't expect that bringing back War for Cybertron meant bringing back Fall of Cybertron engineering, good lord. Aside from Barricade, what reason is there for anyone to buy these over the originals? The first Generations WFC Prime is still one of the best Transformers figures ever made, which just makes these look even more disgraceful than they already are.

Bumblebee looks weak but Barricade looks solid, and that Prime is everything I ever wanted out of a WFC Prime toy. I’ll be picking Prime up ASAP!

Despite some small issues, these last few years have been great to be a Transformers fan.

    -Deluxe Breakdown
    -Voyager Shockwave
-Commander Destroyer drone(perfect size for Titan Omega Supreme to rip in half)
    -Deluxe Slipstream
    -Deluxe Sideswipe
    -Voyager Air Raid
    -Voyager Silverbolt

    Others:
    FoC Voyager/Leader Warpath
    FoC Core disk cassettes

After comparing pictures I may like this Bee better than the original (which I had and got rid of years ago). Doubt the figure is as well made, but he was really weird and gangly (with a fat body).

this guy may actually be better balanced.

    looking forward to better photos.

For me its just more affordable Voyager versions of 'Prime and Megs (I do have a few of the Planet X releases). I am considering not getting 'Bee, but Barricade is a must. I hope they cover more characters not done in the original line. Though a re-do of the Combaticons would be nice.

Barricade looks fantastic! Prime definitely has bulk over the original, though looks like a bit of a downgrade in other ways. And Bee... looks like one of the worst deluxes in years. Baffling bad. Even the back of box photos look horrible. Really wondering what went wrong

Hm. Optimus looks OK but overall I'm not impressed by these. At least they have their own numbering system. Actually I really like the packaging.

The games didn't get a whole lot of figures. Barry for one didn't, as well as Arcee, Ratchet and Ironhide, Silverbolt and Air Raid, Breakdown, Trypticon, and Warpath to name a few.

When I saw the leaks I had a glimmer of hope that the Cybertron games would be getting some rep in the SS line instead of the netflix series and I'm beyond ecstatic to see it actually happening.

On a side note I'm wondering if this is hasbro testing the waters before dipping back into the games these figures are from. If new ports with updated visuals and sound are made for the new playstation and xbox i'll be so happy

I never played the video games, and confess I bought the original BB (and Cliffjumper) because I thought Hasbro was doing an interpretation of his Cybertronian mode from Episode 1.

That said, think I\'ll stick with the original BB, but might pick up Barricade, as he hits that genericon vibe pretty well and I need a few more \'Cons for the shelf
