So they're not going to ship them from the warehouse to stores? Does that mean they'll sell them directly from the warehouse to places like TJ Maxx or Ross?

My TRU is still getting trucks & it's a side by side store. So mine might be one of the 200 that will stay in business? Maybe?

Well, I wouldn't believe a Gamestop worker about that, and there's no way Walmart or Target is touching something that has that TRU sticker on it, nor are they going to sit there and peel them off.

THAT is the big question. Obviously some have already shipped to stores, but will the rest of them? And is that "rest of them" (that are at the DCs) all of them?
My guess, and it's nothing more than that, would be that the ones sitting in the DC will either all ship out to stores during the rundown, or unopened cases may be sold off to another retailer - to be fair, I don't have a clue which would be the preferred method for TRU. If they trickle out to the stores, the scalpers will be snatching them up as soon as they come across them. If it's the latter, expect to see them in the fall at Tuesday Morning, Ollie's, or Five Below. Or the Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall's route, before I forget them as well.

    Thanks!

Though it may be useless now. I went in and manager met me at the service desk. When I statedI was looking for a Transformers product she said what was on the shelf was all they had. She said they would continue to recieve shipments till their warehouse was empty, but when I tried to press further to see if it was in the warehouse she just ran off.

I bought a TLK Cybertron(for that horrendous price) because I figured it would be my last chance to get one and left.

Super excited to get the Primus of my dreams, but not for as much as I’ll probably have to pay for Thundercracker online.

I think we are forgetting that these products MUST to be sold. Hasbro isnt going to just shrug and dump the rest in the ocean. There's way more thundercracker out there than crazed scalpers or buyers. He's probably been produced in equivalent numbers to Infernocus or Skullitron. No reason to assume otherwise. This guy will get dumped somewhere, just have patience.

I call up the stores and ask if they can look up an item, explaining that it's a store exclusive not sold elsewhere.
I give them the number to look up.
They tell me if they have any.
I ask if they're are any in the warehouse waiting to be shipped.
They tell me there's X-amount on pre-order but they still haven't arrived to the store's regional distribution center (warehouse) yet.

Not to mention the unreleased Scouts from the original Movie toyline (Reverb, Backtrack, Gunbarrel). Produced, then relegated to warehouse purgatory and only occasionally finding their way to eBay. I just really hope TRU can get these on their website...

Are TRUs still getting trucks from the distribution centers? The manager at my TRU said the DC has a bunch but no stores in the area have them yet.

I'll admit that $50 seems like a reasonable price for me.

50 isnt bad if you have free shipping. Normal shipping on a 30 dollar voyager is minimum 10 or more. Consider the rest a gas fee. It almost evens out for me at that price.

Stopped by mine again on the way home to see if I could scoop up a few for board members, none left. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them popping up on eBay shortly.

I’m not surprised, for as few toy stores as there are out this way we have several prominent scalpers that routinely clear out any new stock the moment it comes in.

My old store had a number of prominent scalpers. Had one hot wheel guy who would bully employees over non hot wheels stuff and get irate if we sold certain things to other customers. The worse ones though were probably those that hid shopping-cart loads of product under shelf base decks throughout the store. Often it seemed like they’d never come back for, so all those items someone else might be looking for would just be sitting there for months and we wouldn’t find it sometimes until inventory came around. Someone told me guys that did that were listing the that stuff on eBay and only coming in to buy it if their listing sold.
