The last set of legs are behind the pincer, look closely

    All scorpions have 8 legs

With enough Minicon, you can make an army of "unique" Scorponok.

Heck, you can even make your own story about how Scorponok can use the power of any bot they killed.

Excellent idea, I think I'll do the same.

Curious, what is that teeny hole for anyway?
I can't find any purpose for it.

Side note: I dont know what technique you use(d) for something like this, but I will share a way I've used forever.

I take a soldering iron with a fine tip, heat it up nice and good, and then eeeeeever so gently just touch the tip to the area; in this case that tiny hole.
Immediately grab the tail, (or whatever you plan to have plugged in, and firmly press it into the hole. You might have to do this 2 or 3 times , but eventually you will have a perfectly sized hole.
Also, I find that your average wooden dowel is a perfect 5mm tool to use in resizing like this.

Thanks for the idea though man!

I grabbed this today on a whim and I think it's really nifty.

A large part of that is the transformation which does way more than it has to, in a great way.

It's basically TF2007 Skoponok but done properly.

2007 Skorponok was my first movie toy as a kid, so I'll always have an attachment to it. Cos of that I bought this one without expecting much, considering I wasn't fussed about it and bought it on a whim I find it a charming little brute! As everyone else has said, the transformation isn't complex but it's nifty.

Not sure if it'd translate, but I'd love it if they took another stab at 07 Scorpy maybe in core class, borrowing some of the engineering from this figure. I know they did him in SS and MPM already, but technically both of those are too small. It's easy to forget how big he was in 07! Would be even awesomer if they had a bonus third mode where he's basically an engine part or whatever piece of Blackout he's supposed to be.

I got both him and ROTB Wheeljack at the same time. It's amazing how much more I enjoy Scorponok. I thought it would be the other way around.

Same. Wheeljack is so boring and not so fun to handle. This guy looks great in both modes and has a quick fun and easy transformation.

With respect I wouldn't take that wheeljack for nothing. Scorponok on the other hand I'm going to get.

I noticed today that this pairs really nicely colourwise with Legacy Tarn. It looks like he's Tarn's little attack dog.

Now he just needs a chain/leash so Tarn can take Skorponok out for walkies.
