did you V shape the long sides or short sides of the peg?

 

Long sides always seem to be enough.

Where do you get access to pins to do all this pinning you talk about in your mods.

One time, I just happened to have an extra set sitting around and I was able to fix Siege Star Screams chest flap, but since then I've never had any extra pins of that perfect size to do any other projects.

I would love to fix Crosshairs side flaps too actually!

 

Would you mind posting a pic of the results of this particular mod? I've been wondering if those pegs were important or not.

 

They don't do anything that I can tell. I just cut the protruding corner of the flat square part off with one snip, not much to see.

 

A paper clip or small nail cut to size is all it takes. Whatever fits.

 

I steal pins from junker toys.

The Movie '07 Dropkick/Salvage mold is a fantastic source for pins. He's chock full of them, of all sizes.

 

After playing around with it, have you noticed if those tabs you cut shorter are needed anywhere? Was thinking of doing the same.

 

Can the back panels wrap around his legs like if it were part of a coat or does it stay like it was a flat plated cape?

 

Nope, no reason for them I can find. I think maybe they are there for support so the shoulder doesn't get sheared off by ham hands.

 

So out of the box mine snapped at the ball socket and broke -_-


It also had a unstable connection with the backpack balljoint and the hip skirts fall off a lot. I’m really disappointed since I was very excited for him.

 

Are you sure you aren't pressing hard enough to get the backpack back onto the balljoint? Mine took an awful lot of pressure to get it snapped back in. It's been fine ever since.

 

Yeah I heard the snap when I pressed it in but as soon as I tried transforming it it fell off.

 

Why the hell would they not glue the damn spooler on?
