What a fun looking transformation. HasTak is getting really good at folding large panels of kibble away inside a torso. I'm also pleased that he uses the real car fenders on his thighs -- with the movie transformation being so cheatsy I wasn't expecting that.

That said, not a fan of the real headlights ending up on his shoulders, right next to the fake ones. They look enough like his fake headlights that I wish a way could have been found to use them for real. But all-in-all, a surprisingly good looking toy.

Honestly, the car mode looks much better in this review than the online promos.

Wish the entire figure was molded in dark grey or black with the red painted on to give it a better tone and more visual depth. Color looks bland going the opposite route but the sculpt looks decent.

Damn that backpack actually compresses pretty nicely! Alt mode isn’t half bad either.

Impressive how such an angular car could turn in to such a rounded figure. No small feat of engineering there.

Not bad at all for a mainline deluxe version of that design. Nice that a lot of the car parts are used in the bot mode for once!

Main way he could be better is if he turned into an actual Ferrari; a shame that evidently wasn't an option.

I understand English isn't TonTon's first language but constantly repeating "I adore it", "It's very nice" and "I love the details" doesn't make for a very good review.

The figure looks really good though, I'm excited to have it on my movie shelf. Only a few more figures to go and we'll have all the OT Autobots!

A prime example of how *not* to use faux parts, IMO. The chest is already too flat to look very good but it's made so much worse by the real front fenders being there on the shoulders right next to the fake ones. I think the vehicle mode looks really nice though, I never got what people were complaining so much about when we'd already known the license would be basically impossible to get.

Those door wings are still an eyesore, particularly compared to how sleek they are on the CGI model.
