Haha. Yeah got my notification today . Cannot wait.
mine's like the one on the left with the double nub
Cant wait to get this home
Just sharing the drive-train Weapon Storage option with this unit!
Fits nice, but tight ground clearance.
Also, the Toy-Hax/Reprolabels Autobot logos add a nice touch to this guy.
Nobody has yet got a UK in store sighting for that toy. we believe it's been seen in Toymaster
SS-38 + SS-44\'S trailer ?
Seems this the most sought after Studio Series figure.
I hope Hasbro makes a FULL CASE Assortment re-release of this fella.
I wonder why they're not doing full case of single TF character like they do with Juggy Deadpool in Marvel Legends? Hasbro needs to shit on the scalpers.
It's tough being a hunter this year.
Target Online finally shipped these out
I still don’t get why this was listed as a preorder, while the other figures in his Wave were released normally a month ago
I just tried to purchase a SS-38 Optimus Prime figure at Target.. I was denied, and told it has a street date of 5/12. Is this figure being "re-released" for some reason? TIA
SS-38? I Japan its SS-30. So not all of the BBmovie studio series were released?
TakaraTomy's numbering differs because the various exclusives, which were all numbered as part of the ongoing numbering system in Hasbro's line, were either not released at all, or were given an "SS-EX" designation. Japan didn't get Thundercracker (09 in Hasbro's line), the Bumblebee & Charlie 2-pack (15 for Hasbro), Bumblebee Vol. 2 Retro Pop Highway (20 for Hasbro) or Battle Damaged Megatron (31 for Hasbro).
Bumblebee Vol. 1 Retro Rock Garage (19 for Hasbro) and Drift with Baby Dinobots (35 for Hasbro) were both SS-EX, and of the Bumblebee Then & Now 2-pack (24 and 25 for Hasbro), Japan only got the rusty version of Volkswagen Beetle Bumblebee (named "1967 Rusty Bumblebee") as another SS-EX figure.
Thanks for the clarification. I was getting confused with the # designations SS-38 and SS-30 for the JP version.
I think it’s an error in the system.
Same with the upcoming KSI dude
He’s in the same wave as Rampage, yet that was readily sold a month ago with the other Wave 6 figures, while SS38 OP was restricted by that weird date.
I pre-ordered mine on Target.com the day it was listed and its showing backordered
I'm thinking of getting a second figure. One to keep as is and the other to customize. But I'm not sure if I should wait for a KO and hope they do improvements, like how the front wheel panels fold to give him that wide back, that kills the torso shape, and the kibble on the forearms
Would be nice if a future release, maybe under the Bumblebee/Optimus Team-Up Movie, would be another Leader Class Optimus Prime figure, w/h trailer from the end of Bumblebee. Would also be cool if they brought back Armada Optimus Prime gimmick, combining with his trailer making the Optimus Prime from the end of Bumblebee taller. Maybe his trailer is also an anti-aircraft gun that Prime could use on the Seekers.
Target Street Date Tomorrow, wouldn't let me buy him today.
From Target's website: Pre-orders sold out!!
I guess I'm hunting him down tomorrow.
If you are in the states you can get him from Hasbro Pulse online store:
