Someone asked for comparisons w/Legendary Prime, so here you go.

 

Bee movie Prime looks superior in all aspects including the design and even the use of paint. I also prefer the darker plastic on Bee movie Prime.

 

I just found him yesterday at my local Walmart hidden behind 3 or 4 Rampages
And the Home release for Bumblebee, at least Blue Ray, isn’t til April 1st right?
Also, the only issue I have with the figure are his ankles that keep pushing the back panel open whenever I try to flatten out his feet. Other than that, awesome version of Bumblebee movie Optimus!

Better I hate the arm and back kibble of siege prime. I didn’t want ss38 when I found him I only bought him because I hadn’t found anything I was looking for in a while and needed something to fiddle with I absolutely love this figure and it has replaced my MP 10 V as my main Optimus just because when I look at it I see a little bit of every major Optimus. It’s no masterpiece but I paid $30 for it and wasn’t expecting a masterpiece and I paid $30 for siege prime And wished I kept my money and picked him up at Ross and TJ Maxx later on for seven.

 

I might have to pickup a cheap KO or used MP Sideswipe and steal his hands for SS38. They look like they might fit. I might experiment with my MP SS before getting another.

 

I hate that you all are able to find these so easily at Walmarts in Texas, I'm in Dallas/Garland and my Walmarts never have anything except like one or two shelfwarming Dreads if I'm lucky.

 

Don't worry you are not the only one. I had to order one from Megalopolis to avoid paying ebay scalper prices. The new wave is non existent in IL

 

the only thing that throws me off for this guy is his shoulder joint seems too low? That or the upper shoulder part is too high, causing prime to look weird on some angles

 

Honestly, he shouldn't have those black shoulder pieces at all. He doesn't have those in movie and are remains from his concept art.

 

If you somehow manage to remove said shoulder pieces, his head is still sitting too high in comparison to his shoulder joint

wish there was someway to mod that

 

You see that in a lot of movie toys. The original movie line was based on concept art, Jetwing and Striker Primes from DOTM were based on concept art. That's the benefit to this line; since all the characters are all established, the designers can use the finished designs.

Is this the deluxe, voyager, ultimate, or movie trilogy series dotm trailer? (there's so many versions!) And does it peg in with no problems?

This version, it pegs okay, but it cant turn that much

 

IIRC, the turning problem with that particular trailer wasn't a fault of the trailer itself, but because that Prime mold had some bits on his ankles that stick up into the trailer area and block it up.
