Me too I'm really hoping to get a good look at Wheeljack and the rest in full body shots and maybe some alt modes to boot.

 

Yeah, other consistent points that the figure and the concept art seem to share are the two small circles in his "bicep bands" (which for the first time in 35 years, I just had the thought, "Hey, that's like the Ultimate Warrior's arm bands" about, and now I can never unsee it in any Prime toy that has silver arm bands  ) rather than slat-like lines/openings in the final model, and the diagonal angle of the little piston looking molded details in his "elbow gear" circle for lack of a better term.

I really love both models, so I hope there's an MP made eventually that matches the final movie model so we can have the best of both worlds.

 

fuck. knowing what we know about the prequel vs reboot shit, wild that prime was planned to be g1 as far back as what would've been the "prequel" period.

 

Yup, and I'm not surprised as there were plans to have frozen G1 Megatron present in the Hoover Dam too before the whole reboot thing. Hopefully, we get to see the art for that soon.

Well, the concept art is his Earth design, and the final render is his Cybertron design. You'd have to compare the toy against a screenshot of his Earth design (from the end of the movie) to know if it's inaccurate.

 

He kinda just already gave an answer for that.

He has the Autobot logo and the red bits on his abs unlike the concept art or the toy.

3A has said that they'll be making Prime from the film so we have that to look forward to if we don't get an MP any time soon.

 

Ooh that’ll be nice to see form 3A. If he’s gonna be in their deluxe range I suspect he’ll be around the height of blitzwing.
