Cybertron of AEC also implied it's for minicons/smaller bots. And then there's also the various 'masters' smaller types too. Or for that matter any visitor that may require a ride or give directions while inside.

US and Uk did early showings about 2 weeks ago. I saw it on the 8th. Great movie.

 

Oooooooo goooood grief!!!!! You know, my grandpa was a truck driver, almost just like that, except his was white with some blue....

 

I wouldn't say they're vastly different, but yeah, there are definitely differences. Point is, I don't need two Prime's on my shelf at the same time with such a similar aesthetic and I like this movie design better so I'm gonna go with him. I was lukewarm on Siege Prime already, so the choice wasn't that hard.

 

I wish someone would make a prime with this aesthetic but with Bey-verse colors. I like the blue and the flames. And it would be a good way to nod and wink at the old continuity (this movie is a reboot right?)
Kind of the reverse of that evasion Prime they just came out with

 

Like how Andrew Garfields Spiderman and Tom Hollands Spiderman have very similar Spiderman Costumes in that they both look like Spiderman.

 

I kinda like that concept actually, it sorta has that symbiotic deal going with it.

Keep your eyes open and give it some time, and you may see that not too long from now when a place for it can be found. Also, allegedly it's not a reboot according to a previous news posting on TFW. But Knight is staying on for the design side, so we will be moving gradually away from Bay era style designs. But the design process is also still evolving.

Well and it's true too. How often have any of us driven with a passenger that was giving us directions and telling us where to go? The same would apply to a passenger riding in a transformer for those circumstances too.

Well, now I'm town between this one and the newly reviewed OP.

 

Looks pretty neat, but I don\'t think a movie Optimus is ever going to have forearms wihtout kibble hanging off haha.

I always liked the added blue on Movie Optimus. I remember some did a FE Prime custom in movie a Prime colours and it looked great.

 

Looks good. And thanks to the G1-esque design, the deco looks decent (as in the colour layout) unlike the the two Bay design figures so far.

Despite feeling underwhelmed by the movie itself (I think I must enjoy the trashiness of Bay's movies), that scene with Optimus's truck mode genuinely got me excited.

 

I like it one More Optimus Prime for the shelf now I just need a new Tlk prime in SS and technically evasion not counting the legendary Op from Takara.

 

I\'m really interested in this figure. Hope it\'s legit as I really loved Prime\'s appearance in the Bumblebee movie.
