Thank you is for pussies.
Jesus that Jetfire face is terrifying
You’re a complete idiot if you truly believe that....troll
Well done Notrab! isn't this the same guy who came out with those beautiful MPM Ironhide pics that convinced us all that he was a real thing again and that we all wanted him?
Can't wait to paint this baby up and do something to that cape to make it look more natural. Although in that one shot he makes it look so badass!
I legitimately can't believe there are some people saying that the original voyager is more accurate. They must not have seen the movie. Or maybe we have different eyes, I dunno, but it's just not true.
Man look at the legs of the new one LOOK AT THEM
I'm really glad I never got the DOTM voyager, the SS Leader blows it right out of the water. I'm buying/pre-ordering this figure the moment I see it. Honestly, I can't for the life of me see why some are saying the voyager is better.
Ole Megs is an improvement over his DOTM Voyager mold.
Why the hell does that enormous head on Jetfire look like dogshit?
Im guessing it will look better in person but maybe thats just optimism
ROTF Jetfire looks like dogshit PERIOD!
Well, Hasbro never has a problem with sculpts. The paint is horrific. The \"rust\" is heavy-handed, unbalanced and sloppy. I\'ll wait for the OS KO. Nice try Hasbro...
Has it been confirmed that the tanker portion of the alt mode can rotate from the cab at the hitch?
This is more like a oversized deluxe/voyager megatron, this is not qualified to be a leader class figure, now the MPM line has more of the \"leader class\" quality on transformation
It's been confirmed that it can't. Watch the video review, he demonstrates and compares with the DOTM Voyager
It has nothing to do with cost cutting, and I wish people would stop repeating this bullshit. It has everything to do with utilizing different size toys within price points in order to attain maximum possible accuracy in regards to robot mode scale. The reason Megatron is a small leader is because otherwise he wouldn't scale with all the existing SS toys. In contrast, they made Grimlock as absolutely big as they could within budgetary limits (he'd have to be titan class to scale accurately, lol), and then slathered him with an insane amount of paint. I own him: he's fucking massive and as beautiful as can be. There are zero cut corners here - just an extremely well thought out and designed toy line through and through.
His head was enormous in the movie though. It's not the size, IMO, it's the odd lack of a facial expression and the unpainted eyes. He should have had a sneer or something like he did in the movie, and red eyes (but that I can fix myself).
Amen. It's not the amount of plastic, it's how you use it, and basically every SS figure is an improvement over its predecessors in sculpt, posability, and accuracy.
Well, he's groing on me. I'm still a bit disapointed, but I'll probably end up grabbing him when I see him.
This is a leader?! It's got decent sculpting and paint, but $50 for these is crazypants. I love TLK Megs but I got him for under $30, and this figure is shorter even than that one.
Also, DOTM Megs wasn't digitigrade legs, it appears they put him in this to hide how long his legs are.
Aside from those issues, this looks like a decent figure. I don't have enough attachment to DOTM to spend full price on this one, but maybe on sale.
Whoa this looks awesome. They captured the essence of both bot and alt mode perfectly!
Couldn't be happier with release.
Though I don't disagree with you, i think that the "Recessionformer" in question was the DOTM voyager who was tiny
