The rest of the Age of Extinction Dinobots.
There is no Slug, only Sla...Zuul.
Went to a local Target today and didn't see any, unfortunately. Hopefully soon!
Slug, such a nice name...
For anyone that has slug, is he as good or better than grimlock?
Theyre both pretty great, honestly. Being leader class, they finally were able to feel like good iterations of these characters that always have gotten only deluxe or voyager figures in the past that have ended up taking liberties to fit the size/price of that size class.
^ this. They're both wonderful. Honestly, if you're having budget problems and feel like you need to choose between the two, get Grimlock for now, as he'll be the most likely to go away first, and save up for Slag so you can have both. It'll be worth it to get the entire team together in a year or so.
He's totally Kevin now! lol That will never escape my brain. Thanks.
What's the case assortment for these guys? Because with how much I've been getting recently, I want to know if something's shortpacked in the (unlikely) event I come across them soon.
Leaders come in cases of two. These guys are each one per case.
Ah, OK. If that's the case, I'll likely get Slag first, he seems the more demanded of the pair.
Interesting. The target I went to had 3 Grindors and 1 Slug on the shelf at open. I wonder if they backstocked.... I just assumed Slug was shortpacked.
My only problem with Slag is the same I have with Grimlock -- how hard will I kick myself when they release "premium" version with chromed pieces and swords?
Means they got 3 cases and 2 of the 3 Slug's got nabbed before you got there, or yeah, they were backstocked.
Found Grindor at Target this afternoon. Haven’t opened him yet, paint apps look better in person.
Is it true Slug has been spotted at Walmart as well? Or still only at Target?
Not my picture, but I’ve been studying it trying to figure out how to make the legs look better. Too much of a carved-in detail aesthetic rather than truly looking three-dimensional, if that makes sense. Wonder if a wash would help.
I found and bought a Grindor today at Target, but the Slag was already gone. Boy Ravage really needs a new paint job, but Grindor is awesome!
Perhaps back in the day when TT released their version. Those days are gone unfortunately.
I’ve only seen Grindor at Walmart’s in New Hartford & Rome NY. I assume I missed out on Slag/Slug
