Went out for a quick trip to the Lansing Eastwood Walmart, came back with a Sentinel Prime! Scrapper was also there but I left him behind. Not sure if this is the first sighting of him in the United States, so I thought'd I'd make a post!

 

Damn already, i just barely finished wave 8 today
I hope i find them soonish this or next week im pretty excited for both

 

...and the Hasbro release on Pulse doesn't even start shipping until May!?!?!?!??!

For real, a damn toy isn’t worth risking infection to you or your family or the possibility of you passing it to another. You can order this guy for retail price from several websites and sure you can’t have it NOW but two months from now shelves will be flooded with this guy.

Just order him online, pay the $5 or so shipping from Hasbro Pulse and consider it either a convenience tax or a sanity-over-impatience investment.

 

He's a big boy, he can make his own decisions, as can the rest of us. Leave him (and anyone else who posts sightings) alone.

 

No one's complaining about posting sightings, but it *is* foolish to go out specifically to hunt for toys.

If you bump in to something new while getting supplies, let us know, but it ain't worth risking COVID just to find a figure.

I have my Scrapper Preordered already but if I see him the next time I’m in store I’m definitely grabbing him. I’ll probably grab Sentinel as well but I’m in no hurry to go out amongst the idiots, my patience was already tested today just getting milk from 7-11.

I'm getting tired of coming into these sightings threads to check out feedback about a toy and to hear constant "STAY HOME!" virtue signaling. This isn't the first day of this. We've all heard the line a thousand times. Hearing it a thousand-and-one times isn't going to change anybody's mind.

This thread is supposed to be about Studio Series Sentinel Prime and Scrapper. So talk about them or go elsewhere.


Now, speaking about the topic at hand, Sentinel Prime looks amazing. Not a shell-former at all anymore. Well done, Hasbro.

l have said it already but I've gone out on supply runs and checked the toy section just in case and for the benefit of other people in my area. It's definitely not wise to go out just for toys but if you're already at the store and happen to find the new wave of figures, there's no harm in posting it here and letting people know about it.

Regardless, super cool to see Sentinel and Scrapper have been released. I think Hasbro did a really great job on both. I was initially skeptical of Sentinel's paint layout but in hand it looks really good.

 

A lot of people here making assumptions on how the OP got the figure and what social quarantines he must’ve broken to find it and not just, maybe, stumbled upon it during an essentials run because the main places that sell toys also sell, like, shit you need to live.

You’ve all concocted this idea that what he’s done is unsafe when it’s exactly as unsafe as any time you leave the house for any reason during these times. He even says it was a “quick trip” which, y’know, sounds like what we’re all doing anyway given circumstances. He’s in the store anyway, is it really adding risk going to the toy section?

I know TFW, by nature, is judgmental and jumps to conclusions (see the whining about how this figure hit WM first instead of Pulse, completely ignoring the mechanics of retail distribution and how any store can break street dates whenever they want) but come on, let’s not condemn a person based on assumptions.

Honestly I'm glad I got Scrapper when his PO was $20 at Target. Looking forward to having him at my door in a few weeks.
