Camo Blackout? Was that even a thing?
Why not Grindor? (Although Grindor is technically bigger since a Sea Stallion is bigger than a Pave Low)

 

Something I just thought of, but for the Camo Blackout, isn\'t that his G1 colors? Since last I checked, his original Micromaster colors were gray and blue.

 

I'm not sure how necessary that Camo Blackout is, but considering the only repaint that would've made sense was Grindor, and releasing him this way would've ticked a lot of people off, I feel like this was better for them to do. Bumblebee, I need! But will probably not be able to get him for one reason or another.

 

What Next? Frozen Grimlock? Hmm nice idea for custom....

 

Its extremely necessary. Without that repaint, I would not have an excuse to buy the figure again. I kinda understand the blue and white because its supposed to be camouflaged in the sky, which makes sense. Unnecessary repaints are part of the community. its true.

The colour scheme kinda reminds me of this Grindor from RotF, just done at a much bigger scale (and of course, having the camo work all over his body instead of just a tiny bit of the figure)

 

They both look pretty good. Wish they weren't super rare limited edition prize offerings though. They'll be near impossible to find for reasonable prices on the aftermarket, methinks.

 

Ok another reason to skip getting the 1st SS Bee release. Still warming the pegs on the stores.

WHEW; I was worried I'd have to try to hunt down that Blackout if he looked amazing. But strangely-coloured camo isn't my preferred look.

Now if they make this figure available in a more definitive premium paint scheme... that's another story.

Actually, my stores have had Studio Series for a little while now, and I’ve yet to see a Bumblebee.
