This release would have made NEST Autobot drone with the masked head. But instead of that, we are still stuck with Bayformer Bee’s mug.

I still hope they repaint this as BBM/Knightverse Hound with a new head. I would definitely buy this and put it with the other BBM Autobots.

 

I really want them to use this Base mold for a Brand New VW Bumblebee Figure. 

 

I just really like the jeep alt mode. The tinted windows and NEST logos make for a really cool vehicle for human figures that are able to fit inside. If they were to do at least one more of this mold, make a Swindle variant. Or something fun like Beachcomber

 

It would make for a good Beachcomber, Swindle or Hound.

I hope get a new VW Bee cause that figure really needs an update. Whether it's a retool of this mold or a new mold.

 

Yeah, I want to get some characters that can be used as Autobot Drones in Studio Series. NEST Bee still kind of works, but it would be even better if it have that masked head sculpt.

I have the OG version of SS57, and I can confirm that it goes well with LEGO minifigures.

 

The missed opportunity here is Jurassic Park colors to go with that box set.

I personally really like the Jeeplebee tooling (especially after I tightened the joints with a little floor polish) - very expressive, it has some personality to it in the stance, etc.

This all-grey deco leaves a lot to be desired, but I don't have to buy it either.

It boggles my mind that we still haven’t gotten a Studio Series VW Bee that actually looks like what we saw in the final movie.

The OG's legs are way too skinny and (more obviously) he did not have the door wings in the movie. Use that door plastic to thicken his legs or something! I don't know!

 

In hand, the shade of grey used looks really good, especially in alt mode. I think I might get this after all!

Despite its inaccuracies, and the terrifying backpack transformation, I think it's a decent figure. I don't mind the inaccuracies, because the designers were working off concept art, but I would also love a more screen accurate figure.

 

It's not terrible but next to the other newer BBM stuff we need a new one.
Maybe if they did Camaro Bee (who if they didn't redo VW Bee is the only BBM Bee left to do). They could maybe retool it to VW Bee since the robot mode is basically the same minus Camaro parts.

 

Making this toy into a 'Knightverse' Hound would've been pretty nifty, just give him a new head and maybe an additional shoulder cannon-thingy accessory and you'd be good to go.

 

Or a new head at the least. Cause then a 3p company would probably do it. I'd also take a Swindle. I wish they would do that along with other repaints. And if the rumor of a DOTM leader Warpath happening (if Breakaway sells) I'll be putting him probably with my SS BBM Autobots.
