September or October if we're lucky. Preorders won't go out till the rest of wave 3 so I'm not expecting it any sooner than that.
He looks neat for what it is. Sure looks more like Jazz and he might have been one until certain point in production. Anyway, since he is wave 2 that means WFC bots are really close to leak.
God. I\'ve seen maybe 1 or 2 comments actually liking the figure with the rest being arguments on Jazz.
Tell me about it....Though at least in this case we got to see the finished cgi model first so we know for sure that he won’t evoke Jazz in the movie
Where in the hell are the paint apps? This is across the board with the movie Studio Series toys. I guess a new NEW cost cutting measure.
Call me crazy, but his design on this toy looks significantly better to me than in the movie. His movie look is...too sleek? Just too smooth and organic. This figure has some CHONK to it and I LIKE it.
Oh look, a Porsche icon on the hood. He looks good and I'll probably add him, but I'm even more excited for the elusive MP G1 Jazz to finally materialize
Yeah the shoulders are way too far apart. I did a quick and dirty edit to remove his back kibble, and the door windows on his arms (which seem to be quite thin and transparent) Looking at this, the upper body is indeed too wide. The limbs are not that overly bulky (not as slim as the movie but still). I don't get why they made his arms so thick, you'd think that's the one part unhindered by transformation constraints. Maybe the original concept was a lot bulkier. Though I'm still curious to see the actual physical toy, properly posed. It fails to capture the vibe of the movie design, but I think it'll look much better then this pretty unappealing render. (this is why I would have been fine with waiting a year for Studio Series releases. The best Bumblebee figures came out 2 years after the movie)
