I wouldn't be shocked if they intended it to be Jazz, then chickened out in a weird attempt to maintain the illusion these are prequels to TF 2007

My biggest qualm with Studio Series compared to older movie lines is that we don’t get toy-only repaints like these anymore. Such a shame.

I think the general design of the figure is fine. It's not perfect, and definitely needed more engineering budget. But it's not bad at all. I wouldn't mind owning one ... IF it gets accurate colors. Because that's the biggest flaw the render has right now.

Well, that and that for some reason he has what appears to be fake headlights as his shoulders, when the location of the real headlights is more accurate from what we've seen in the trailers.

 

Hasbro should take SS 86 Jazz and make him. As a GS or another exclusive channel.

I hope all of this secretism and then big reveal about Mirage being an officialy licensed Porsche mean that we will get three masterpieces with the Porsche license this year: MP Jazz, MP Cliffjumper and MPM Mirage

I like that Porsche mode a lot. Robot mode's rather janky. Lots of leg kibble that looks like it will collide when posing, the transparent plastic arms are really weird. I'm interested to see what the mainline ROTB Mirage looks like. I don't care about accuracy to the movie's greebly Bayformer design, and I am tempted by the idea of using one of them to represent Jazz in my movie figure collection, I'm not very fond of the piddly SS07 Jazz with no feet.
