Jetfire looks awesome, but I have my concerns with DotM Megs. First, I find it strange that they chose the DotM design rather than the 2007 design, which in turn would end up completing the entire 2007 cast of Transformers from the film. Second, why a leader class for DotM Megs? I don’t think Megatron was that much bigger than Optimus was in the film, and you might be thinking “well Blackout is a leader class and he’s shorter than megatron”, which is true, but that is because Blackout is very bulky. Personally, if they wanted to fill the Leader representation for DotM, I would’ve gone with Shockwave. With that said, I am still very happy to be getting a toy of DotM Megs at all for SS because is it my favorite movie Megatron design, and its nice to finally see that design made properly.

 

I completely forgot about that. I know that day, I'm going to a toy convention, just to hunt for star wars toys.

 

Megs has a pretty big alt mode, so I'm sure that's why he's a Leader class toy.

I can still remember when I use to work at Toysrus during dotm. A kid asks me if we had voyager Megatron in stock. I pulled one out in the back and gave it to him. But his mom said, "you don't want that. It's ugly."

 

I wonder if his alt mode will be as long as Blackout or Jetfire's alt modes. Looks huge in the photo.

 

Well it’s one that’s officially done by Hasbro, since there is a Third-Party one also in the works.

 

Hobotron comes with Undermine/Igor? Rad. HEY. What if DOTM Undermine is ROTF Long Haul's head, and it grew a body and became TLK Onslaught?

So do we know that Megatron is a leader or a voyager class.
I thought the whole SS line was suppose to be in scale with the other figures UNLESS they do what they did with Blackout.
Like a leader class alt mode but a voyager class figure, otherwise he wouldn't be in scale with the Optimus figures.

not really studio series is based on scale I mean blackout was a leader and was smaller that grimlock. That what they are most likely going to do.

Nice to see I was right that Leader Class Megatron is DOTM Megatron. Jetfire has his legs collapsed down too much, so he's more than likely notably taller than Megatron here. Nice to also see that Jetfire has his cane, which the official images and the Paris Comic-Con panel didn't show, and Megatron has a nice, big, screen-accurate shotgun! And also Igor, apparently...neat. Wonder if Igor reuses any tooling from the leaked potential Studio Series Long Haul?   And I love the rusty weathering that Hasbro put on him, it looks really good! I’m very quickly running out of space for these guys!!!   I NEED THEM ALL!!!!!

There's been a Leader Jetfire listing floating around for months now. We already knew it was a Leader.
