Curious where that Leadfoot was spotted. He has his own DPCI since hes not part of the general assortment, so im very curious to see how quickly he makes it out and around.

Geeze it's gonna be the gi joe street date debacle all over again  

 

Technically ER wave 2/3 voyagers have a street date in Target's system too, but outside of snapdragon being unable to be sold at stores for a few days, neither wave 2/3 voyagers have had issues scanning (I know because I bought ER Megatron and Quintesson Judge on Saturday), so there shouldnt be an issue of buying it when theyre on the shelf. I think the GI Joe issue was demand WAY outmatched supply, and then the release debacle on top of that.

 

Wasn’t there trouble with doubledealer who is also wave 2

 

It's not the issue with scanning. It's that once it starts hitting stores, some people will be able to get the employees to pull them from the back, some stores will put them out early, and some people will get hit with the street date when trying to get them from the back. I don't think it will be any where near the gi joe fiasco, but plenty of people do want to complete their movie wrecker team so I guess it will depend on the supply.

Yes, but hes a leader, so different DPCI. Thankfully that also got lifted in pretty short order.

 

Honestly, I was hoping that maybe Roadbuster’s chainsaw would come with one of the other wreckers. The excuse for that was “the excellent detail, blah blah”, but the other two wreckers have all of their accessories and details. I’m just saying, I wouldn’t care if the chainsaw came from somewhere else. That’s what I was hoping Leadfoot would come with.

 

Yeah Roadbuster definitely got the short end of the stick for weapons. He's missing two small guns for his arms and even some hips guns.

 

Having him spotted in the wild makes me really want to run to my local (very small) target but I've been disappointed 90% of the time I've tried to shop for Transformers at retail the last several years so I really doubt it'd be worth the trip.

My honest opinion the Studio Series looks a bit like an upscale cyberverse one.

 

Have you forgotten to spread his legs? So Leadfoot look more squat, like he was in the movie

He's definitely an improvement, but I can see what you're saying about the cyberverse part. I wish they'd broken up the hood/stomach are a bit for robot mode.

 

Thanks for the comparisons! The studio series one looks way better and more accurate in both modes. Can't comment on posability though. They both come with a lot of weapons which is great, but this new one comes with steeljaw too!
