You my Internet Friend, are awesome. Thank you.
....shipped for $38 bucks!!? Yes, I'll take one.
I want to support Brick and Mortar so much, I really do.....but when things like *that* happen, it's hard to not just *click*.
Found out the collector store in the next town is doing preorders for July Release. Not sure if I should believe that. I'm going to call the store and find out.
no worries, they also have lockdown and jazz for pretty much retail price as well. I love megalopolis as they usually carry a lot of stuff before anyone else and they don't charge a premium.
Grabbed one. Can't pass that up.
Order placed, $38 shipped doesn't seem to bad, for me anyways.
Woohoo! Primus bless you! Just ordered and paid a couple bucks extra for priority mail cause I couldn’t resist. Hope he gets here before the end of the weekend!
I gave up on brick and mortar years ago. Which is sad because hunting for new toys at retail was more fun than doing it online. Living in a big city too where there are very few big chain stores and the collector stores often don’t have stock makes it nigh impossible though. And even in places where there are millions of targets and Walmart’s and Ollie’s and whatnot people are having such a hard time getting this stuff. Why??
Thank you! I hadn't planned on this guy showing up before late August.
I've learned not to even bother looking local beyond Wave 1 of any toy line these days. Every store seems to over order upfront because they just really don't care as long as something is on the pegs.
I don’t even know if the normal “wave” style distribution method makes sense anymore. Maybe they should just release one figure at a time whenever they’re ready through HTS and amazon or something.
Exactly. But see, Studio Series Megatron appeared on HTS.com and within a few days he was sold out. Could it be Hasbro's other toy lines are just more popular so they pool resources to produce those toys over the Transformers?
I mean, that has to be the explanation, right, or something else that makes business sense or else it appears Hasbro simply doesn't want to make as much money with Transformers toys as it can.
I think that their normal distribution methods are crumbling and they haven’t figured out what to do about it yet. Not only that, but I feel that many toy companies can’t wrap their head around producing toys for different ages. Japan was way ahead of other places in that regard. I feel like they were the first ones to make toys for adults.
Got mines today from megalopolis!
Same. Talk about fast service for $3 shipping!
Doggone. If they sold 3rd party, I'd switch from BBTS...
Got mine too. He cam in a ridiculously large box.
With amazing packaging, stickers and something to throw at my daughter when I need her attention. Definitely buying from them from now on if they have it.
Yea they’re awesome!
Those are SS Prime's swords right?
Yes. I replaced SS Prime with Movie Best Prime for much better scaling and the swords fit perfectly, covering up the roof panels under his fist.
