As a big fan of Ferrari, I feel that this is a big let down to not get a proper Ferrari 458.
As a big fan of Transformers, I feel that they should have not done this under "Dino," or reuse the of the other Sports car molds.

 

As far as i can see only the front of the car is the problem, maybe a 3p can make an addon to replace it

 

How could Jetfire be the first to transform when his father turned into a wheel?

It's not like we'll ever get another mainline Dino. It's not like if they had just pushed him back again, suddenly Ferrari would have said "yeah sure now you can do it." This is your best bet, unless you go for Firage or wait for another 3p option. If you're not satisfied with this, don't get it. There's no reason for you to wish this Dino didn't exist, especially while it's good enough for a lot of people and it's gonna fill a lot of collection holes

 

IMO, as long as a Cybertronian mode visibly has what it needs to accomplish the vehicle's role,(car has wheels, tank has treads & gun, jet is aerodynamic by scifi standards) it's good enough. Function over form and all.

However, I still think the DOTM Voyager Shockwave looked better.

 

The Fallen's bullshit cybertronian jet mode made for the toyline was already a better jet mode than the vast majority of cybertronian jets in the franchise, so I wouldn't mind if they repeated it's concept.

 

I agree, but it came at the cost of screen accuracy in robot mode, so I'm glad SS took the opposite direction.



However, given that the second mold of The Fallen released in the original ROTF line was already incredibly accurate to the source material - other than the color scheme, of course - I wouldn't be shocked if they use it as a base for the SS toy, ala SS Starscream essentially being an upscaled DOTM Deluxe Starscream.



Regardless, very excited to see it come 2022!

 

At this point I doubt we'll be getting new toys of the Twins. Good riddance I'd you ask me.

 

They should give him an interesting crotch joint, like Scrapper, I think it would be suited to this design. Also curious to see how they handle the arms with the four shoulder struts

 

Trying to look at every angle of the car, see if the promo pictures are deceiving.

 

I really hope the Fallen is good. I may not like the character, or have much love for the design in Transformers, but I feel like a toy with a sculpt and paint job akin to Grimlock and Shockwave would look simply phenomenal. His quasi-organic, almost chitinous shapes and bizarre struts linking his arms, he just feels like something ancient and unknown. (and the ROTF Voyager utterly failed to capture that)

 

Yeah, im really looking forward to the fallen. I hope if jolt does well, hasbro gets the inspiration to do devcon, too.

 

That side view is looking real sharp to me

 

The shoulder struts are by far the most interesting part of the on-screen design, so I hope they do them justice! I am optimistic, given that they actually went and did four arms Overload from that insane concept art, instead of taking the easy way out and using the less interesting design that was used for his legends class toy back in 2009.

Kudos to the SS fans that keep track of all these Bees.

At this point you could throw up pics of a Bumblebee from three years ago and I’d believe you that they were new.
