Are we sure there real and not digibash or customs
They’re %100 real. Pre-orders go up in a couple of hours.
For fuck sakes my wallet isn't even having Episodic seizures and shit no more it's just dead...
Ok but like seriously IDGAF about Bee or Starscream but that Dino though, I'm deadass getting 2 of em because I already know that he's gonna be hard to find years from now. Let's just pray the quality control is good
Pretty sure he has a backpack but I don't really care, he looks fkin great from what I can see!
Bumblebee looks great. The Cybertron mode evokes his screen appearance much closer than the Beetle Studio Series release based off the concept art.
It of course has a lot less vehicle parts to hide though.
Well every SS deluxe is basically a game of how much backpack will a mold have lol
Horribly mis transformed and mangled, as usual by official Hasbro guys. Wonderful.
Im very sure transformed properly, Dino will certainly looks miles cleaner and less like a pile of junk.
He made me rekindle hope in this world! I want him! Now immediately!
Pass on Bee and screamer...
FINALLY! DINO WILL BE MINE!!!
Based on Dino’s car front shoulders, he looks like he might be unlicensed? Not surprising, but yeah
Now the real question is if Hasbro actually did get the license from Ferrari. That was the number one problem in actually doing a 'screen accurate' Dino and until I see a Ferarri badge on that figure it will remain in doubt in my mind they actually got it.
The situation is actually worse than that. It's entirely possible the deal might be along the lines of "we won't sue you for making a toy of Dino AT ALL." Remember, the toy was flat out delayed at least once (was supposed to come out in 2019, before being replaced with Car Dropkick).
Seriously, this is what happens when the director's priority is putting expensive cars on-screen. It was a mistake to use a licensed Ferarri as an alt-mode, because Ferarri thinks so highly of themselves, that in their eyes, it transforming into a robot is somehow a detriment to their brand. And not even cause of the toy's association with war, ala the licensing issues with Volkswagen - which is actually somewhat understandable, given the latter company's...uh, history.
No, it's literally "our car is too cool to turn into a robot." To the point where Michael Bay and co intentionally hid the transformations partially out of view and/or in the background - while still taking care to make sure the Ferarri brand symbol is impossible to miss. What a joke.
Offroad Bumblebee accomplishes the same (and with a smaller backpack to boot), because it shares engineering and parts with Cybertronian Cliffjumper/Bumblebee.
(it's also easily the best SS Bumblebee toy to date, though the TF1 Bumblebee released this year is a close second.)
Dino looks like a modified AOE Stinger. BB is a must have as always.
For a split second when I saw the shoulder details I thought he might turn into the Pagani Huayra because the headlights looks close to that but looking at it again I think you're right that it's just a generic sports car.
Definitely disappointing but understandable.
Edit: Just as a comparison.
The front of his shoulder doesn't look like a 458, so I guess it might not. But I will get him anyway, even a lot of him
Yeah, I'm betting on it not being a licensed alt mode. And additionally... watch them call him Mirage, as they did with the ONLY toy he got during the initial DOTM toyline.
Separate names with a comma.
