Roadbuster makes me hopeful for the rest of the wreckers at least, hopefully they can officially brand them but I sort of doubt that's going to happen (seriously, my first job was Target and I want a good, screen accurate Leadfoot out of this line specifically).

Jeep Bumblebee? Really? Why? There are so many other characters that should be getting representation before this. Was this even a thing? I still haven't seen the Bee movie.

BM characters are vastly smaller than their Bayverse counterparts. All aircraft alt modes are undersized and even the Seekers stand below 20 feet tall.

 

Because he showed up on Earth out of nowhere, in a scanned Earth mode (complete with D-con symbols on his missiles, because he had time) and found Bee, while Dropkick and Shatter were on Saturn killing Cliffjumper, while having no clue where Bee and the other Autobots went? I actually really enjoyed the BB movie, but that plot point made no sense whatsoever. No toy needed, lol.

 

That's an awesome idea. Might actually try that myself, if they don't do an official version. Part of me suspected this is the reason Bumblebee scans a Jeep in the movie to begin with - so they'd have a base model to use for Hound later, but this is probably just wishful thinking.

I doubt it. A Willys Jeep is just the most logical choice to have Bumble scan when he lands in a military base just because he's such a smol boi. But I do think it'd be a great idea to reuse the design (with a few changes) for Hound in this continuity.

Super pumped for Jet Shatter and Jeep Bumblebee! Heres hoping Blitzwing is in the corresponding Voyager assortment (presumably alongside Scrapper).

Nice to see Roadbuster is being revisited- hopefully that means a new Leadfoot is also in the works.

 

It could be that Blitzwing decided to follow Bee while Shatter and Dropkick decided to follow Cliffjumper. Blitzwing may have landed seconds after Bee and scanned the closest thing. Since the Bots weren't really going to a singular location in the first place, it's easy to see how Cons ended up in different places with no idea of where the rest of the Bots were heading.

 

How can Studio Series get any better? I said it once and I'll say it again, it's such a great time to be a Transformers fan

 

My take is that the Decepticons -contrary to Optimus' belief- already knew of Earth way before Optimus learned from it, so they had dispatch sentries on the planet, one of them being Blitzwing; this would explain why Shatter reffers to it by name and not by something else, and why Sector 7 never detected Blitzwing "arriving" after Bumblebee. The 2007 film made ir clear that the Decepticons had arrived on Earth way before the Autobots did

 

Prime also said that he found the planet thats well hidden.

 

Not so well hidden at all, for Shatter and Dropkick found it by casuality/plot demand. Also, how did Blitzwing sneak behind Sector 7? Or why was he already on Earth before Bumblebee?
